    I love the Pro version and it has been well worth it. It is also great to help you with Tshirt templates so everything you do isn't just rectangular. I use the clip art all the time and design in Adobe Elements too. I am trying to learn Affinity right now. I think it would be well worth it for a newbie to start with Canva before Affinity. I got a year membership and I think that would be good time frame for the newest designers to design quality tshirts. There are so many mistakes you can make with the others like stray marks that you can't see until its too late. I wish I would have started with Canva. You can use the tshirt templates and then export to 4500x5400. I think it would be great to show everyone all the different tshirt template styles and you can just easily modify the template. Thanks for the video Juna.

      @@TheMan-it7px I believe that means you have to change something about it. If you use an image, or whatever, you have to make changes to it...you can't sell someone else's work as your own.

      @@TheMan-it7px I really don't, I am just starting and still learning Canva, and the whole Print on Demand world, myself. If you go on this channel's most recent video and ask him, he will probably answer your questions, he is really good about replying. This is one of the best channels for this subject. Also, check out these two channels...
      "Zen Watercooler"
      and
      "Crafty Stax"
      It is the same guy, who runs both channels and his channels are really good and informative. He has videos on Canva and how to use it. One of these channels talks more about how to research for Print on Demand, and the other one is how to use Canva and other programs, like Canva, Photoshop, etc. He is really good about replying, too, especially on his more recent videos.
      I watch "Wholesale Ted," also.

    Hello. Your videos helped me a lot ✌😃 , but I have a question. I want to add my own graphics to Canva to make a t-shirt design, but I dont know how to do it. It mean: I thought that I should draw vectors in Adobe Illustrator (I using this tool to draw) and paint it. But I don't know in what format the vector needs to be exported. png transparent or svg? Please answer my question. Best wishes

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question... I think Canva will accept either of those just know that a PNG should not be scaled up because it is made out of pixels.... an SVG would be okay to scale up because it's a vector.

      Like Jake said, even if you are a pro member, you just can't use the graphics or fonts available for commercial purposes. Get free fonts with commercial usage rights online, just search and you'll find them or buy them for really cheap on creative fabrica.

    • @WonderfulWorldOfStuff
      @WonderfulWorldOfStuff 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I already know the answer to this & simply it is a Yes it can cause account closures on some platforms, especially Redbubble, I know a person whp was taking the examples canva gave & was not making any changes & uploading them, of course anyone doing the same thing (lots of people do this) if they have uploaded before you & then report you, this can cause a red flag on your account & removal of the design. As Juna teaches always adjust the design, change the wording or fonts, make it your own version.

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Designing on Canva is okay... just taking designs as is on Canva without any changes could.

    My thing is that Merch by Amazon states that you should have an image that has a 300 DPI. Anything too low, will cause the image to look blurry. Canva states that they only go up to a max of 150 DPI. How has your shirts turned out on M by A?

    • @DetourShirts

    I need your help please
    I just started MBA and when i want to upload my first design[affinity designer] on it
    It's keep showing me this message [please upload a valid PNG]
    and i'm actually respecting all of conditions and sizes that amazon recommend to be in the design (4500/5400 pxl, 300 DPI, RGB colors, transparent background...)
    I'm so confused about that!!!!

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  3 ปีที่แล้ว
