i really like the way u do voice-over of your videos, how u explain the material u use, and why u do certain things with your painting with reasons. its clear, very informative and helpful. oh. and your paintings are gorgeous too
The sauce looks delectable! Thanks for the great tutorial! I was gifted watercolors for Christmas (only ever painted in oils and acrylic) and am going to try food illustration.
Incredibly helpful! I'm just getting started in watercolors and am particularly interested in food. Love the way you explain yourself and can't wait to tackle one of these tutorials!
I\ve been subscribed to you since the avocado video almost a year ago and suddenly your videos stopped showing on my home page. I came across your reviews and find out you've made so many videos and I love the way you explain your paintings and give reviews. Thanks for a good holiday binge watch session and I'm definitely interested in real time painting videos! Also, maybe reviewing specific colors whatever the brand. Thank you & happy new year!
Thank you so much!! I hope you enjoyed your holiday binge watch! I’m thinking about starting up the real time tutorials some time soon, I’m really excited to be able to share so much more than I can in such a quick video TH-cam format. I love the idea of a making a color series, I’ll see what I can do! Thank you so much, and I hope you have had a wonderful start to the new year!
I have to say that I think that you did an amazing job making it look real, but a real painting as well. I like your style and how you describe what you are doing but, I personally need more of a step by step and help with color mixing and technique. I think that I would definitely subscribe if that is how you did your stuff. I am looking for more TH-camrs that do that because the ones that I follow right now have their styles and I want examples on a lot more different subjects.
Thank you so much! I try really hard to fit as much information as I can into the videos I post, but I completely understand that there is so much that can’t be covered in that time. It’s definitely a tough balance of giving a thorough tutorial, and making it a length that most feel is digestible. I personally love longer, more in-depth videos as well, but there is really no denying that long videos don’t do well on TH-cam. I’m in the process of starting a Patreon for those who want the more in depth tutorials that include references, sketches, color swatches, in-depth color mixing, and my thoughts on each piece like conveying lights/shadows, perspective, etc.
Personally I tried joining Patreon for another artist but was disappointed. Some people just do it in parts. That might work. Either way, you are an incredible artist!
Thank you! I know what you mean, I subscribed to one and I felt a bit mislead, but the couple since have been as promised. I’ve been putting a lot of thought into it, not only in what I could offer and what I feel is important. I don’t think people’s money should be taken for granted, and also I don’t want to waste anyone’s time with things they didn’t want, or to not meet my promises. I also know their time can never be given back. For me, it’s also important that once I start a Patreon I keep up with TH-cam as normal. I would always get kind of sad when I can’t afford to support someone on Patreon, and then their videos on TH-cam stop. It stops all form of support I could give that wasn’t financial. It’s not a decision I’m making lightly 💕

Wonderful! A slower tutorial would be great. Love the colors you used on the pie.
Thank you!! I still have all of the original files, I may add this to the list of full length Patreon tutorials!
Beautiful painting, new subscriber here☺🥰😀☕🖌
