I just love Phil because he's so obviously a fan-boy himself - as well as being a comedian. He's always making wonderful impersonations of Eddie Izzard, Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie etc. :D
I would love to see Phil do an Eddie Izzard impression with him nearby. That would be so funny to see them riff off each other. If it happen on QI, Stephen Fry would laugh til he cried.
He kind of did at one show, where Eddie came on first and Phil followed him Phil started doing his best, amazing impression of Eddie and Eddie threw a water bottle at him from off stage. To this day, I am not sure if Eddie was truly trying to hit Phil, or jokingly threw it :)

Most indigenous tribes (often the people who name things) only know about one example of a thing so they don't have a name for the thing in general as they don't know about the need. Some tribes names for themselves is the same as their name for people/humans if they were isolated enough.

Yep. I think it's better when the funny-maker is already a fan of what they're making fun of. Me, mocking e.g. Sex and the City is just an awful pile of bitterness and bile; but me, making fun of Iron Maiden, now that's filled with love and respect.
