Miley fcking Cyrus man. I can't listen to all her original versions after this era, after hearing her give these songs an even deeper, richer, sadder, more rock and badass feel over and over again live. She sounds like a damn rockstar from the 1970s nowadays. Who knew about all we were in for when we started watching Hannah Montana over a decade ago! She truly matures like fine wine. More astonishing year by year!

For people stating her voice is tired, when touring, at the end of the tour the vocals may get strained from overuse. It even happened to Freddie. The guitarist wanted to really rip the comfortably numb solo but held back as to not overshadow Miley

Honestly her vocals have emotion and character here, like Bob Dylan or Tom Petty where it sounds like they been through some shit
Even when her voice is not in the best shape, she still sings live and I like her hoarse voice actually. I think that her image as a rock-chick is something that works for her more than her country image that she had for the "Younger Now" album. I hope that her voice is going to get better when she starts performing again after her surgery. She will always be a rebel and I think that she tried to tone it down with the "Younger Now" album, but I think that true self is coming out now and I hope that continues to just be herself and don´t care about what other people think of her. :)

Funny how everyone criticised the hell out of this performance back in 2019, and after "Midnight Sky", her rock covers and the whole " Plastic Hearts" era, the tune had changed to "OMG SHE'S SUCH A ROCKSTAR!!"

Because for Midnight Sky she was intentionally sounding like that whereas this performance she was clearly struggling - she had surgery just after this.
