Cool vid but I got to ask how was dazai misogynistic? Not defending if he was but I never heard anything about him being explicitly misogynistic or more misogynistic than the normal people of his time
He's based on the author, Dazai Osamu, and he was known for being EXTREMELY misogynistic. Although in the anime he's not exactly like that, you can see where the creator is coming from if you've read No Longer Human, which is a semi-autobiographical fiction book. Gosh, when I read it, I was absolutely shocked by the blatant sexism and misogynistic thoughts and feelings of the main character. Some parts kinda made me want to cringe and/or gag and then set the book down.

Great video, I absolutely loved it! I just have one thing that I want to comment about. I recommend making the characters a bit bigger so its more appealing to the eye. Otherwise, it was really an amazing video, keep up the good work!
2:18 pls DAZAI THE AUTHOR IS NOT THE SAME AS THE CHARACTER, if so, dazai name would be tsushima shuji, and HE would be obsessed with Akutagawa and nikolai gogol would me mykola hohol, ranpo would be taro hirai and he would be the one obsessed with poe, bcs Edogawa Ranpo is the japanese pronunciation of edgar allan poe, bcs the author irl was a fan of poe and used it as a pen name

yes! In the book ‘No Longer Human’ He described prostitutes as people he could not see as humans. However, there are many more things as well. :))
