High Bret, your videos light up my life. I am experiencing a stressful period in my life and this really gives me hope to live another day. (narcissist wife😭🙆🏽♂️)
Hi Ray, man I'm glad this music can help forget your worries even for just a moment. Music has definitely helped me in my hard times in life. I always appreciate your comments and positive energy! Thanks Ray 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Really nice right-hand technique there Bret. Tried to convince one of these down-tuning baritone "metal" players to use BOTH sides of the plectrum (a la Al Di Meola in his REH vhs video) fell on deaf ears (and not from the volume of the music he likes play and listen to either). Good stuff young man.
@@BretHunt interesting way of playing Dm9 with no root. Had a letter published in Guitarist Magazine in about 1995 (whole page reply by David Mead) about these partial voicings and "implied" harmony. My personal preference is to get as many notes in as possible for a "fuller" voicing but I can see (hear) why it's done this way.
Thanks for your video !!!
Thank you!

I like your style and the way you play. Great sound
wonderful job!
Always discover great songs thru your covers:)
Keep it up

One of Mr. Bensons best tracks. Who do you think (or know) played the rhythm guitar on this track?
It's Paul Jackson Jr. The man! 🎸
Thanks!!
