Racing a Piano on an F1 Track - Red Bull Soapbox Race as Sir Elton John

We entered the Red Bull soapbox race in Belgium and built a grand piano as a tribute to Sir Elton John. In the previous videos we built the frame and the piano, now it's time to let it loose on the track!!!

I really liked your video and your idea. Looking at your frame, I could not believe that the whole thing did not fall apart though you seemed to move slowly. Why didn't you paint the interior... it looked a bit raw.

Looked like a lot of fun! You could keep the kart for next race and use for moving heavy materials and similar tasks until then... the piano looks amazing and maybe you could fit a real digital piano where the wooden keys are and turn into a piano stand or just a pretty cool piece of furniture

You should have used aerospace grade aluminum or titanium, like in a real rocket, mister Rocket Man ;-)
