Resin 3D flower coasters
I used Barnes Clariti resin to make this resin flower. I also used white pigment paste from Castin Craft, alcohol ink from Pinata and Interference gold from Colorart.

Hey, the silver decoart pen is thicker than the gold because it is a different pen with a different tip. The chisel tips are bigger and costs less than the leafing flat tip.

Hi Julie... I wanted to share a tip I just learned that by my surprise works... You know how you had problems with the mica on the flower bowl? Well I've found you can paint on your leafing pen onto the silicone molds edges or raised embellishments and it completely transfers onto the resin 😱 I tried it on an older mold in case but no the mold was clean as and a perfect gold edge.. No more messy mica.. Especially on your black big flower bowl with those raised bits. So much neater and easy to to paint on. I also have the same pens as you.. 👍

Another beautiful flower. I’m not generally a fan of silver in paintings or resin because it always looks dull to me, but this is beautiful.
its the alcohol ink.. alcohol bleeds out more than drops down, with exception to white which is a color sinker. Alcohol ink is less likely to blob to the bottom than the heavier pastes. the result is super pretty!!
