This is literally the best zero gapping tutorial, helped me with my babyliss as it was too Sharp before and was cutting me

Thank you for this vid. I've been gapping my blades in different ways over the years but I've never stood in front of the window for the best lighting. Blessings.

I like to set my blade manually also. After I manually set my blade I put my pointer finger parallel to and behind the still blade to create more contrast to see how well I zero gapped it.

Money! Only difference is I put the silver Super Motor trimmer blade on mine because I don't like gold.
To test if it's too sharp I like to use the inner part of my forearm closer to the bend of my elbow because that's more sensitive soft skin, IMO.

Hi. Do you still believe this is the BEST setup, present day? Also, what about this setup compared to the newer Stylecraft Saber trimmer? Which is better between the two, and why? Thank you very much.

Am about to get babyliss pro fx 773nmb. Should I assumed i don't need all this adjustment or gapping for the blade? B) Do you happens to know the dimension for the trimmer

You can use them right out the box. But if they’re not cutting as sharp as you like you would then need to zero gap them.
