It’s great to see you are using your boat for what it was made for, coastal trips and not sitting in the marina and used as a floating caravan as many of them are!
We had a sealine statesman 330 as well and sailed her from Poole to Shotley marina via Dover. Went round the back of the IOW which was a bit of a chop. Lost electronic navigation due to sea water so wife had to do manual plot on charts. What great job she did. Thank god we did the Day Skipper courses. I went on to do Yachtmaster. What a great boat sadly had to sell her due to job lose.
You are right, it is a shame - I’d ‘followed’ them from afar, but guess what …. I’m now following you and Friday Night, plus of course, your pals Waggies Cruising. Out Out introduced me to flybridge boats after I had sold my ‘bricks and mortar’ holiday properties in Spain, so your pals Sealine 310 is of interest - and your folding radar arch is even more intriguing. Best wishes to the (past and present) crew of Out Out - I’d seen it advertised not so long ago - you are missed 😢.
@@erisaman2 Thank you for your comments and we have some really interesting journeys coming up really soon - yes I am intrigued as to where Out Out are now.. as for my magic folding arch, I keep meaning to get a short filmed and actually find out by whom and when this was done!
Congrats, great video. You will love the Solent. We had a new 330 Statesman built in 1996- lovely boat. Be aware though, we then upped to an S37, then S41 and S48!! The sea bug gets you😀 Now pushing 80 and have an S34 much easier to handle!

Such a shame there are no more uploads - looks like it has been an amazing journey!

I knew that boat looked familiar. It’s for sale.
Congratulation on that trip.. We did the same trip although I'm in the itchen.
Great video and you are berthed in Mercury. I used to be there too.

What's the cruising and top speed of the Statesman?
