I've watched this video maybe 5 times, it's truly an inspiration to someone like me who's starting an empire army, how you manage to get the variation in your units is amazing. You must have spent an age working on your hobby.
As always, thanks for your time and glimpse of your collection - amazing and gorgeous 😍 love your sometimes crazy compositions. Best wishes from Germany
6th edition minis really had something special, most of my minis come from that time and really after that it never feel the same. When I look to my armies of that time and I look yours I can feel why they are so cool, if you invested enough time and love you could make every mini in every unit something unique. Today I don't see that uniqueness or even the possibility in GW minis...
GW and the other major companies making minis are missing a big thing. Quality. The minis back from the 90's to the 2000's and even earlier than that have an aesthetic to them that is sorely missed and has been lost. Sadly these companies are all focused on charging as much as possible. One of the reasons why I got into 3D printing was this very fact. Now I make minis for me, and our customers and honestly everyone is happy so that works for us. This was a great vid, got my sub and a like!
I love how you integrate so many different creators of miniatures, especially like the Mordhiem models I think they look so fantasy warhammer! I might be going through all of your showcase videos while I paint up some models hehe ;)
Thanks. That’s the benefit of being old and in the hobby for so long. I wish I could take a Time Machine back and grab all the Mordheim and Dogs of War stuff I missed.
really cool simple palette that works for unit cohesion and a lot of really off unit fitting characters that makes this army one of the cooolest empire army i've seen on any battlefield, great work
Awesome. What a nice army. I like your old hammer models. I just wished you´d have used a camcorder instead of a smart phone. Anyway. Thanks fpr sharing that with us. Great job.
Super nice army. I had an Empire army in the good ol'yellow book. I also had a Dogs Army. It came out when I was working there and I got the stores army because no one wanted to paint it. I regret selling it.
@@hobbyistfirst961 Amen to that! But I like what they've done with the new Horus Heresy, so hopefully Fantasy will be similar to that. Seeing as it's the more "Specialist/Historical" version I addition to the main game.
A lovelly collection. :) I never played Empire but I had some of the Mordheim dudes that became the Freecompany. And I took the plunge when 6th Ed dropped, having played Farty K before that.. So 6th Ed is my fav and I remember the Empire & Orcs & Goblins releases and the battle reports fodnly.. Balanced edition, atleast at the start, a great time - and the Empire army was quite popular and common - so nice to see these dudes! great job has been done on them. Thanks for sharing.
What model is the 3rd you mentioned that was converted into a warrior priest? I picked one up from a craiglist lot and havent been able to ID it. Awesome army, I love empire
Hello, thanks so much for this vidéo ! It help me to organize and And insert or mix figurines into units. If you want to sell If you sell a few units I’m a taker. In the meantime can you tell me comes this miniature and also the magician’s griffin? I didn’t quite understand
The miniature is the man of the yellow unit with the beard and Who has one hand on one hip and holds with the other hand a great sword whose tip is laid on the ground
I started putting the army together maybe 20 years ago when you could get 16-20 state troops for $20-$25, so in today’s dollars it would take thousands to duplicate this army. Consider the unit of greatswords…they are mostly metal models that include Dogs of War and Mordheim figs. Unpainted, the horde of 40 greatswords would cost a few hundred dollars to accumulate today.
This makes me sad seeing the limited range we have now. I just bought my first fantasy Models (Empire State troops) and they are not very customisable and are pretty identical or too unique with no variety.
This is a truly epic Warhammer army. I love the mix of old and new models, I've done the same with my Middenhiem and Lizardmen armies!
A true work of art and love. Congratulations! Really inspiring
Thank you so much.

Thanks for the compliment. Yes, I’ve been working on this particular army since maybe 2004.
I love these showcases man, such great armies.
Such an incredible army! Really special to see all those different eras together in a beautiful cohesive army like that, really well done!

Amazing work! Truly inspiring!
Gorgeous army! I'm collecting a bunch of old Middenland metals so seeing stuff like this is really inspiring
Very awesome and encouraging me to continue working on my own Empire army.
Just picked up the Old World army Codex “Armies of Fantasy”

They were somewhere between realism and heroic fantasy. I love them too

6th edition was the golden edition of warhammer fantasy miniatures i'd say.

Impressive army!
Thank you. Have you seen the other ones on my channel?
11:24 Ah, a fellow patient at in the looney bin. It's an honor sir
This is true warhammer fantasy! The way it should be!
There's an amount of soul that simply isn't replicated with the new game/sculpt/paint
Mind-blowing work! Can't wait for GW to release the new edition of Fantasy Battles!
I’m excited too, I just hope they don’t revise the game every few weeks like 40k.

lovely army!

Beautiful army Bro. Empire, very hard to paint; a lot of detail, but beaufiul.

I like the war machines based, nice little dioramas.
Nice army dude.
Thanks brother.
I love how you include some ogres and halflings in your units, really makes them an Empire of MAN, be it small or large, still human-ish?
I appreciate that you’re watching closely enough to notice!
Halfling Napoleon. I see what you did there ;P
10:35 Churchill from the insurance adverts!! Oooh yes😂 great army, what is the sheeting it sits upon?
They are presented on a F.A.T. Mat
Wow

He’s from the Johan and Wilhelm set, Dogs of War regiment.
I'm rebuilding my Altdorf Army for the Old World and also Armies Project

wow
query about emperor Franz - the GhalMaraz - is that version a part o the figure or it a kitbash (hand and hammer from Valtens)?
I think that’s the intact figure, no kitbash.
@@hobbyistfirst961 my dream to get my hands on this version of our beloved emperor...
Awesome stuff.
Thank you!
How much did it cost to throw this army together, if you don't mind me asking? Talabecland is one of my favorite provinces of the Empire.

I miss Fantasy, man I hope The Old World reinvigorates the community with some fun rules.
Love the conversions and unit fillers...
Gelt's Pegasus is quicksilver isn't it?
Oh yeah, I think someone called it Pandora during our Warhammer campaign and that came out while I was filming. Good catch.
This makes me sad seeing the limited range we have now. I just bought my first fantasy Models (Empire State troops) and they are not very customisable and are pretty identical or too unique with no variety.
Those puffy sleeve, multi pose plastics were incredible.
Did i miss the halfling hot pot?
I might not have it anymore, though I have the crew with turkey leg.
the female model leading the spear men what company made it?
Reaper Bones
do you no the name of the minature
your Napoleon is way more impressive than Ridley Scotts one
>He doesn’t know what the Bandeliros Gringors are
smh
Did I see a halfling Napoleon in your free company? 😂
Yup
Name of the song?
