- With Betty White n Steve Martin*** The Carol Burnett Show is a variety / sketch comedy television show starring Carol Burnett, Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence, Lyle Waggoner, and Tim Conway. It originally ran on CBS from September 11, 1967, to March 29, 1978, for 278 episodes and originated from CBS Television City's Studio 33 (known today as the Bob Barker Studio). The series won 25 prime time Emmy Awards, was ranked #16 on TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time in 2002 and in 2007 was listed as one of Time magazine's "100 Best TV Shows of All Time."

Not their best not far from their worst. And it's a treat to see Tim Conway and Steve Martin interacting. It's funny, but only in the last year or two of the show did Carol get really cutting edge with some guests on SNL's level. George Carlin appeared a few weeks before Martin and had a good night.

Martin was one of those who thought what they said and how they acted when they were high was some sort of brilliance. This didn't age well...at all. He's just one step away from the insufferable Robin Williams.This is just Mork from Dork.

Never could stand either Robin Williams or Steve Martin, Martin actually ruined this skit.
Naw. Martin was a comedic genius. This was just a bad skit for him. Don't put him in the same group as Williams. He's a lot funnier, and no I don't think he was on drugs.
