Beautiful video. Beautiful sounding organ with those vibrant reeds. Juan Cabanilles was indeed the the Spanish Bach. A true master of Baroque music, and the photos of those lovely Spanish organs are to die for, as is the El Greco towards the end.

An update on this organ. The instrument is now properly curated, tuned and winded. I’ve had the good fortune to play it recently. Every year there is a “Battle of the Organs” concert featuring the cathedral’s three baroque organs, an absolutely thrilling event with a big audience. There is a short improvisation on this organ on my channel. It has always been played on Corpus Christi but now played much more often.

Serà la primera parte de la Batalla Imperial de % tono de Juan Cabanillas?

I recently found out that this is actually a Toccata by Cabinilles and not a Batalla. I cannot be perfectly sure, however.
