sort of, it is right click, and you are cancelling it with the dodge button, but, youre actually cancelling it with run, by holding the dodge down, the point of the right click is to search for a connection so that you can combo, by crouch rmb, land on the ground, jump, lmb, lmb, rmb which i think might be the best combo for the longsword. anyways, mixing this up with the focus strike and focus cancels, is pretty much what people are doing.
making the health pool larger, makes melee resist more valuable, stacking 6 gold resists can reach like 75% resist, if you have 100 life, that is an effective 175 life health pool, if you have a basic 100 life and got hit for all of it. the 75% resist would mitigate 75 and you get hit for 25. if you go 3 and 3 health and resist, the stacking of the life pool makes you have more effective life pool, as 175 (25 for each gold health jade) is reached before the mitigation calculation. which would be 36.5 , you would take 66 damage but it is out of 206 life pool. which leaves you at the 175 after the hit, which you had before the hit, in the other process.

not true :) you just need to learn others characters more, matari is just easy for begginers, this is only diff. With Matari you can run, soo you dont need fight skills soo much like with others
They really just need to add duos for me to really dive into this game. Trios is just a spam fest and solos arent really my thing. Feel like duos is a must add mode.

Hey when you use the long sword do you just do right click and dodge to cancel it then keep repeating the right click?
It depends on the situation. Sometimes cancelling your charge attacks benefits you and sometimes it get parried :/
