Half the time it looks like a piledriver, and the other half a gutbuster. And a couple of times a cutter. Great move, all the same. I like Bam Bam Bigelow.
It's a variation of the Square Driver, which is essentially a cross between a Michinoku Driver and a tombstone, the other version is a over-the-shoulder gutbuster.
The Rikishi Driver was the move known in Japan as the Fire Thunder Driver, which was also similar to the tombstone variation used by Owen Hart. The Greetings from Asbury Park was similar but not quite the same, it was a Square Driver, which is kind of a cross between a tombstone and a Michinoku Driver.
I doubt they’d give it to him. Look at guys like Hogan who’ve messed up their backs so badly after dropping on their butts for so many years, and guys the size of Omos are already under risk of back problems just by living, so a finisher like this would be a big no-go.
Could you do Shane Douglas Pittsburgh Plunge? I don't think he hit it very often thought. I also really liked Konnan cradle suplex/DDT if you could do that as well.
Well one of those is a over the shoulder sit out pile driver variant and the other is a sit out tombstone pile driver variant. Point is, if the head goes below the legs and butt of the person giving the move, it will be botched. Regardless of the size of the person performing the move.
Most likely AJPW it's original name was the Fire Thunder Driver. It's probably something he wanted to switch up instead of doing the diving headbutt all the time.

Piledriver one is the best one

Make It honor to the name
🚬🧐
As he got older and heavier he modified it
Great move indeed, commentary add coolness to it as well
I love the “we are heading to the garden State” setup on commentary.
Jersey Boy! Alumni of one of the best wrestling schools, Monster Factory in Paulsboro!
Thought about this move the other day. Underrated finisher ! Long Live Bam Bam
One of the best pre-Attitude finishers.
Greetings from Asbury park!
New Jersey , BABY!
excellent as always
Sit down tombstone piledriver! Nice r.i.p bam bam
Before the big ending by big E we had the greetings from Asbury park
This rikishi's driver and Scott Steiner's screwdriver look brutal and we're awesome
Who are awesome?
The best big man.
Damn. I'm a longtime wrestling fan but I never saw that move. Big big shame on me 🙈
His finish is similar to Rikishi's driver.

The best big man to ever lace em up
RIP Bam Bam Bigelow
Most of this his finishers looks safe.
I wish Omos would use this move.. it would give him a believable finisher
I doubt they’d give it to him. Look at guys like Hogan who’ve messed up their backs so badly after dropping on their butts for so many years, and guys the size of Omos are already under risk of back problems just by living, so a finisher like this would be a big no-go.

Okay, I’ll check it

What would be the equivalent of this on 2k24?
Here after seeing Io Shirai perform this move off a ladder at Money in the Bank
Fire Thunder
can u do kensuke sasaki northern lights bomb n his wife
Future WWE Hall famer
This man should have been in the hall of a fame
So true@@godzillaeditsbackup
Cool move, but it must've been tough on the right shoulder
That's why he changed it from a driver to a gut buster cutter thing
He was already hurting by this time
I'm guessing Scott Steiner taught him how to do it because yes he didn't do it in WWE or ECW either.
Most likely AJPW it's original name was the Fire Thunder Driver. It's probably something he wanted to switch up instead of doing the diving headbutt all the time.
Yes he did do it in ECW
Rikishi Driver😅
Rikishi Driver 🤷♂️
Bigelow's was more of a gut buster cutter thing sometimes most of the time it was a driver
I want all moves to be safe...but i really hated this move and how phoney it looked. I hated when rikishi used it too
