Trivia: what do both of these guys have in common?
Both eventually lost to Tyson? To be fair to both Ratliff was a blown up crusierweight and Thomas was a functioning addict for most of his career which had an adverse effect on him reaching his potential. Thomas could have been much more.

Michael Spinks beat Holmes twice . Styles Makes fights, they never fought each other, so you dont know for sure who would beat who

A lot of people think Holmes avoided Pinklon Thomas. I remember pinklon calling Holmes out.

Struggled vs an old past prime KEN NORTON, some people thought he lost.
Struggled badly vs TIM WITHERSPOON, many people thought he lost
Was dominated by MIKE WEAVER, until he landed that desperate lucky Uppercut in the later rds that saved him.
DAVID BEY was hurting & rocking him a few times.
BERBICK gave him a tough 15 rd battle
BONECRUSHER gave him a tough fight.
RENALDO SNIPES badly hurt & dropped HOLMES.
CARL WILLIAMS gave HOLMES a tough 15 rd war, many say WILLIAMS was robbed.
MICHAEL SPINKS beat HOLMES twice.
MIKE TYSON destroyed HOLMES in 4
My point is, yes, HOLMES was a GREAT FIGHTER, but he was not this overly superior fighter you people make him out to be, he wasnt that hard to hit either, i forgot EARNIE SHAVERS almost even knocked him out .
His 48 - 0 record was no easy cake walk, & he got a few gift decisions during that 48 WIN STREAK.
So PINKLON THOMAS did have a great chance against LARRY HOLMES.
