Doc called me yesterday to tell me I have skin cancer. Made me think of how precious the time we have here on this earth is. Made me also think that I need to be out witnessing more. I know where I am going when this life is over but I fear for those that are walking into darkness. Tomorrow I am headed back out to hand out tracts

I don't often ask for prayers, but lately I feel like I been back sliding, I been giving into lust, and I don't want to damage my relationship with Jesus.

6:01 Haha it cracked me up how transparent it was when that guy backed out and said "you're weird" as soon as he was told he couldn't make up a god that allows sin. It was an excellent example of how people simply don't want the truth because they want to continue their sinful ways. It's rare to them be so transparent and obvious about it like that. Usually they at least try to hide it. But he was fine, the whole conversation, then suddenly was out when he learned he might have to actually stop sinning. It cracked me up because it was so overtly obvious that's why he did that.
So true. Not sure how you can claim to believe in God and read the Bible and yet miss this fact... I suppose if the Holy Spirit isn't living in you then the simple and obvious message just doesn't make sense to you.

The sad and wicked thing is he's not sharing the Gospel, Comfort is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Also, he's adding more conditions to simply taking God at His word. Comfort says "repent of your sins," "give your life to Christ, make him rule and reign in your life" all this is DISCIPLESHIP, not getting in to heaven, perfect obedience guess what, none of us can't achieve with or without the Holy Spirit. We have a dead flesh nature because we're by nature rebellious we all sin in thoughts, in words, and in actions, you can't modify that, we deserve the lake of fire, The Gospel is God the Father settled the sin issue by punishing Jesus Christ instead, by choice and love toward us He did this, the death of God, His burial and resurrection from the dead, raising Himself up to prove who He is, God the Son and the True High Priest, if we had to do our part, then it nullifies God's provision and instead it leads one to seek to earn God's favor which none of us can't, Comfort and alot of others will hear I NEVER Knew YOU, because such were not born again written in the Lamb's book of life because they didn't believe on the Son, the True Good News the Lamb of God that was slain on our behalf read Genesis 3, God didn't tell Adam and eve, to do their part, He clothed them FREELY, because there's nothing we can do to undo what we did except accept what God already did by FAITH, trusting that JESUS' was judged on our behalf and know for certain you're going to heaven because God promised it in the scriptures John 3:14-18, John 3:36, John 1:29, and in 1John it says this about Jesus' You know (to believers that placed their hope in JESUS' work for them) that He (Jesus Christ) was manifested to take away our sins (your and mine accounts was judged on JESUS' rather than us) and in Him is no sin. Please, just believe. This is not a bargain, it's God telling you do you believe what I did covered to pay for ALL your sins, yes or no. If not, you're lost and on your way to the eternal lake of fire for refusing God's payment He made for you so you or I wouldn't have to.

If you seek God first, He will take care of all your needs (Mat. 6:33). - Having unforgiveness in your heart is another reason you could be left behind. “If you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions” (Mat. 6:15). Ask God to help you forgive others, He was the only way I was able to be able to forgive certain people. Jesus is our greatest example because while he was being tortured and killed, He forgave them. “Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you” (Mat. 5:44).

Believers who practice lawlessness/SIN. Obedience is important. You can’t cherry pick scriptures. Please seek the scriptures for yourself and ask the Father to reveal the truth to you. I used to believe in the false doctrine of Once Saved Always Saved (OSAS) which deceives people that all they have to do is believe in Jesus yet they can still choose to live in their sins. God led me to the truth and convicted me of sins. Jesus said the path that leads to life is narrow and few will find it. Only believing is a broad easy path. Obedience is required according to Jesus. We can lose our salvation. Even while Jesus was here on earth, some of His disciples walked away and stopped following Him (John 6:66). These are disciples meaning they obviously believed and followed Him but stopped following Him. Jesus said, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and FOLLOW ME.”

You will say to Jesus, Lord didn't I give my life and desires for you, didn't I turn from my sins, didn't I...... Or that..... Was not I faithful..... he will say to you, I don't know you because you never believed that He reconciled you to the Father. You are against free grace, you make fun of God's UNMERITED favor, we are ALL seen as an unclean thing. How do you explain Lot, Samson, Solomon who worshipped idols which the Bible calls devils and didn't turn from it and yet by The Holy Spirit wrote Proverbs, Song of Solomon, Ecclesiastes. Scripture says the Lord knoweth them that are His, if we believe not he remained faithful and cannot deny himself. Once you're born you cannot be unborn. You're motivated by fear wanting to prove something to God, the Bible says our RIGHTEOUSNESS are as filthy rags, Jesus said It Is Finished. I'll leave you with this, I'm not interested to debate because it goes nowhere especially with Comfort's prideful cohort, God warns about people like you that add and take away from His work in Ecclesiastes 7:14 and in the NT saying if you add a single work you will join the devil, and the rest of his children in hell because you refused the only work God accepted Christ and His blood. Here's grace, you don't deserve something given to you because the person wanted to and in our dire situation it's the only way, Christ's death burial and resurrection, He chose to do this FREELY, we deserve the opposite. Remember identity is different from a behavior change. Religion will lead you to despair and introspection. If OSAS wasn't true, NO ONE, I mean NO ONE would get into heaven. The publicans and the harlots will go to heaven before you, let that sink in they knew no matter what they do they couldn't wipe themselves clean in the presence of God, they needed Jesus' righteousness by faith, He won't save a person who's trying to earn his acceptance. True humility is realizing what He did sufficed enough and will only be enough. Just believe, rest in his love and acceptance of you because Jesus satisfied our judgment in His flesh.

Through one man Adam all are sinners, but also through One Man Jesus all can have their sins forgiven. All explained in the Torah in depth of how Moses & Aaron made the wilderness tabernacle which God instructed them to do & was a perfect pattern of what Jesus later done to save the world from sin. All we must do is receive the free gift by believing & receiving all Jesus has done for us & go L& sin no more.

The scripture in KJV is good to compare with modern translations for this reason. What are pillows that make your soul fly? Ezekiel 13:17-23 NIV 17“Now, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people who prophesy out of their own imagination. Ray, I’ve recently started using your method to witness to people. Seeing how bad I am at it and then watching you makes me think that you are a master of the way of the Master.
I've ran into the same thing. Stumbling with my words, feeling stupid. I know it is the message that is what counts. I learned this in my career also, you have to find a way to be yourself and come across like your normally would.
You can’t give what you don’t have. Read your Bible. Work on your own relationship. It’s the Holy Spirit who gives you the words through the relationship you have with Jesus. NoT from ray

Dear Ray thank you for shedding light about false conversion. By the grace of God I want to serve God and understand what christians go through for following Christ truly following the master. I know it will come with may trials and I had a friend that called me religious for mentioning Him we need to truly be committed to follow Jesus. God is faithful and knows who truly needs Him and is willing trust and believe in Him and His Son Jesus. I am starting to understand we are at war with what we can't see and is what the Bible says, Ephesians 6:12. I pray for all that we continue trusting in Jesus and believing in Him because He is in control and will keeps us from the evil one and when we sin we need to come to the throne of grace to be forgiving and keep fighting the good battle.
That woman reminds me of when a certain couple walked into a clinic, the man had an STD and the woman kept telling the receptionist: “tell him that it’s normal to get STD’s and that everyone gets them all the time!” 😬
It is hard watching these, honestly. Trying to explain the gospel to people and they reject it, it hurts because I just picture them in that moment at the judgement seat and when they finally "get it" but it is too late. I always hope that God reaches out to them again before death, but God is not a liar and some seeds do fall by the wayside. I can just imagine Mr. Comfort's heart screaming out to some of these folks is desperation to turn away from their sins and ask God for his blood atonement of our sins.

It breaks my heart to see them reject our Creator. He is such a precious and loving God. I pray that they will think about what Ray said and open their hearts to Him. They just don't realize that when they accept Him and begin to live for Him, that He will take away their old desire to sin and give them a happy way of living! 🙏✝🌈
please pray for me people: i have been walking with the Lord 22 years and have overcome so many things; yet in this last year i backslid bad into old habits and bad diet and now i am suffering immensely for it! i know i am reaping what i have sown and i deserve everything coming my way but oh how i wish to get back to a place of peace, love, joy, etc.....please pray that God will have mercy on me and restore unto me the joy of my salvation!

I’m celebrating my 54th birthday this week and it is also the 40th anniversary of me becoming a Christian. I wish I could say that everything has been great for the last 40 years but I can’t. I was 14 and on my way home from a summer bible camp when a young couple that were camp counselors were giving me a ride back to my church after finishing the summer bible camp. They asked me if I was saved and I said no and that I didn’t understand and they explained what being saved meant and asked if I wanted to be saved. I said yes and prayed with them and they said that I was saved and that my life would be great! So forty years later and I have been absolutely miserable for most of my life and my life has been crazy and very difficult. I don’t understand why everything has been so difficult but I was expecting a very blessed life full of joy, love, abundance and prosperity and it’s just been a grind. I don’t know what to think now and I feel forgotten and abandoned by God. I feel like I must have done something wrong. I just wish my life would become more full of joy and I feel like it’s probably too late for me to be happy. I just don’t understand why my life didn’t turn out the way I was hoping it would. Please pray for me because I really need a big miracle to happen soon and I am desperate to feel God’s love. I have had so much bad luck and I am worn out and I feel like I can’t go any further because I am just so exhausted. Thanks 🙏🏻!!!
Read the bible daily, pray, and obey His word. The bible gives us instruction. 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness

Well, I hear all kinds, but I know that just because someone tells you that you are saved...doesn't mean you really are.. yes, there is power in prayer, but there is no "magic" in it.. surrender to God. If no change happened in your joy, something in your heart is being held back from God. Give it all to Him. Also, God promises hardships in the Christian life. But the more hardships for His nane's sake, the greater the reward in Heaven. Don't give up. Keep seeking while He can still be found.

Ray I have been struggling a lot with repetitive sin. I know I need help but sometimes I feel like I can’t do it. I know that I am much happier with Jesus in my life but sometimes its so hard to stick to the Christian lifestyle.

It’s a 20 minute talk that I’ve listened to a few times and it’s helped me when I’m in the same place as you. More than anything be strong in the Lord sister. What a compliment! Ha. We're all weird in the eyes of the world. My dad asked if i was going to hand out roses at the airport abt 36 years ago when i was saved. Lol
This is good stuff. And I am learning. I go all around town giving people tracts that declare specifically what the Gospel is and why it's important. I might get a couple of moments at most before they have to move on. I was, originally,driven into His Word to learn about who Jesus is and what He did...and convicted of sin by the Holy Spirit. So I know what it's all about. This led to my repentance and I experienced real salvation. Praise the Lord God of all strength and wisdom!! Only He can do this..... But I am realizing now the pure benefit of confronting people with their sin, having them see it and challenging their off-perceptions of God. This is necessary. Often, I think people might just put the tract away and think, "Oh, that was such a brave man! Nobody else does that these days. There IS good in this world." But that's it. I fear too many might forget about salvation 5 minutes later. But as saved Christians we KNOW there is more. We have to engage people sometimes! The Lord is certainly capable of reaching out and grabbing somebody to save them...no man brought me the Gospel. He just drove me into His Word to start with His Son and led me from there. I'm sure He CAN get the essential info into a person's mind with a tract....but I am certainly seeing the power of the most gracious Lord in what Ray does here. I know He has been moving me towards preaching in this same way. All of us need to be able to do this. Grace and peace.
Doc called me yesterday to tell me I have skin cancer. Made me think of how precious the time we have here on this earth is. Made me also think that I need to be out witnessing more. I know where I am going when this life is over but I fear for those that are walking into darkness. Tomorrow I am headed back out to hand out tracts

It's rare to them be so transparent and obvious about it like that. Usually they at least try to hide it. But he was fine, the whole conversation, then suddenly was out when he learned he might have to actually stop sinning. It cracked me up because it was so overtly obvious that's why he did that.

The sad and wicked thing is he's not sharing the Gospel, Comfort is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Also, he's adding more conditions to simply taking God at His word. Comfort says "repent of your sins," "give your life to Christ, make him rule and reign in your life" all this is DISCIPLESHIP, not getting in to heaven, perfect obedience guess what, none of us can't achieve with or without the Holy Spirit. We have a dead flesh nature because we're by nature rebellious we all sin in thoughts, in words, and in actions, you can't modify that, we deserve the lake of fire, The Gospel is God the Father settled the sin issue by punishing Jesus Christ instead, by choice and love toward us He did this, the death of God, His burial and resurrection from the dead, raising Himself up to prove who He is, God the Son and the True High Priest, if we had to do our part, then it nullifies God's provision and instead it leads one to seek to earn God's favor which none of us can't, Comfort and alot of others will hear I NEVER Knew YOU, because such were not born again written in the Lamb's book of life because they didn't believe on the Son, the True Good News the Lamb of God that was slain on our behalf read Genesis 3, God didn't tell Adam and eve, to do their part, He clothed them FREELY, because there's nothing we can do to undo what we did except accept what God already did by FAITH, trusting that JESUS' was judged on our behalf and know for certain you're going to heaven because God promised it in the scriptures John 3:14-18, John 3:36, John 1:29, and in 1John it says this about Jesus' You know (to believers that placed their hope in JESUS' work for them) that He (Jesus Christ) was manifested to take away our sins (your and mine accounts was judged on JESUS' rather than us) and in Him is no sin. Please, just believe. This is not a bargain, it's God telling you do you believe what I did covered to pay for ALL your sins, yes or no. If not, you're lost and on your way to the eternal lake of fire for refusing God's payment He made for you so you or I wouldn't have to.

We are not perfect while we are still in our flesh but His Holy Spirit helps us to do Gods will and sin less and try to do better each day.

Jesus promised He would keep His faithful people from the ‘Hour of Testing’ because they have kept His commands (Rev. 3:10).
Jesus said the Greatest Commandment is to love God with all your heart, soul and mind and the second is to love others as yourself (Mat. 22:36-39).
- If you are left behind after the Rapture, you may have an idol. Having an idol means loving anything more than God. Idols can be persons, places or things. God hates idols and wants to be #1 your heart. If you seek God first, He will take care of all your needs (Mat. 6:33).
- Having unforgiveness in your heart is another reason you could be left behind. “If you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions” (Mat. 6:15). Ask God to help you forgive others, He was the only way I was able to be able to forgive certain people. Jesus is our greatest example because while he was being tortured and killed, He forgave them. “Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you” (Mat. 5:44).

Obedience is important. You can’t cherry pick scriptures. Please seek the scriptures for yourself and ask the Father to reveal the truth to you.
I used to believe in the false doctrine of Once Saved Always Saved (OSAS) which deceives people that all they have to do is believe in Jesus yet they can still choose to live in their sins. God led me to the truth and convicted me of sins. Jesus said the path that leads to life is narrow and few will find it. Only believing is a broad easy path. Obedience is required according to Jesus.
We can lose our salvation. Even while Jesus was here on earth, some of His disciples walked away and stopped following Him (John 6:66). These are disciples meaning they obviously believed and followed Him but stopped following Him.
Jesus said, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and FOLLOW ME.”

You say you love Christ, but you're spitting at the blood He shed for you by saying it wasn't enough to save you, how do you lose ETERNAL LIFE, do you deny God knows the end from the beginning? If you answer yes, how does He not know we would commit something that He already would resolve for us, by Himself. Can you improve by what Jesus did. Absolutely Not! You will say to Jesus, Lord didn't I give my life and desires for you, didn't I turn from my sins, didn't I...... Or that..... Was not I faithful..... he will say to you, I don't know you because you never believed that He reconciled you to the Father. You are against free grace, you make fun of God's UNMERITED favor, we are ALL seen as an unclean thing. How do you explain Lot, Samson, Solomon who worshipped idols which the Bible calls devils and didn't turn from it and yet by The Holy Spirit wrote Proverbs, Song of Solomon, Ecclesiastes. Scripture says the Lord knoweth them that are His, if we believe not he remained faithful and cannot deny himself. Once you're born you cannot be unborn. You're motivated by fear wanting to prove something to God, the Bible says our RIGHTEOUSNESS are as filthy rags, Jesus said It Is Finished. I'll leave you with this, I'm not interested to debate because it goes nowhere especially with Comfort's prideful cohort, God warns about people like you that add and take away from His work in Ecclesiastes 7:14 and in the NT saying if you add a single work you will join the devil, and the rest of his children in hell because you refused the only work God accepted Christ and His blood. Here's grace, you don't deserve something given to you because the person wanted to and in our dire situation it's the only way, Christ's death burial and resurrection, He chose to do this FREELY, we deserve the opposite. Remember identity is different from a behavior change. Religion will lead you to despair and introspection. If OSAS wasn't true, NO ONE, I mean NO ONE would get into heaven. The publicans and the harlots will go to heaven before you, let that sink in they knew no matter what they do they couldn't wipe themselves clean in the presence of God, they needed Jesus' righteousness by faith, He won't save a person who's trying to earn his acceptance. True humility is realizing what He did sufficed enough and will only be enough. Just believe, rest in his love and acceptance of you because Jesus satisfied our judgment in His flesh.

I've ran into the same thing. Stumbling with my words, feeling stupid. I know it is the message that is what counts. I learned this in my career also, you have to find a way to be yourself and come across like your normally would.

Dear Ray thank you for shedding light about false conversion. By the grace of God I want to serve God and understand what christians go through for following Christ truly following the master. I know it will come with may trials and I had a friend that called me religious for mentioning Him we need to truly be committed to follow Jesus. God is faithful and knows who truly needs Him and is willing trust and believe in Him and His Son Jesus. I am starting to understand we are at war with what we can't see and is what the Bible says, Ephesians 6:12. I pray for all that we continue trusting in Jesus and believing in Him because He is in control and will keeps us from the evil one and when we sin we need to come to the throne of grace to be forgiving and keep fighting the good battle.

It is hard watching these, honestly.
Trying to explain the gospel to people and they reject it, it hurts because I just picture them in that moment at the judgement seat and when they finally "get it" but it is too late. I always hope that God reaches out to them again before death, but God is not a liar and some seeds do fall by the wayside.
I can just imagine Mr. Comfort's heart screaming out to some of these folks is desperation to turn away from their sins and ask God for his blood atonement of our sins.

I’m celebrating my 54th birthday this week and it is also the 40th anniversary of me becoming a Christian. I wish I could say that everything has been great for the last 40 years but I can’t. I was 14 and on my way home from a summer bible camp when a young couple that were camp counselors were giving me a ride back to my church after finishing the summer bible camp. They asked me if I was saved and I said no and that I didn’t understand and they explained what being saved meant and asked if I wanted to be saved. I said yes and prayed with them and they said that I was saved and that my life would be great! So forty years later and I have been absolutely miserable for most of my life and my life has been crazy and very difficult. I don’t understand why everything has been so difficult but I was expecting a very blessed life full of joy, love, abundance and prosperity and it’s just been a grind. I don’t know what to think now and I feel forgotten and abandoned by God. I feel like I must have done something wrong. I just wish my life would become more full of joy and I feel like it’s probably too late for me to be happy. I just don’t understand why my life didn’t turn out the way I was hoping it would. Please pray for me because I really need a big miracle to happen soon and I am desperate to feel God’s love. I have had so much bad luck and I am worn out and I feel like I can’t go any further because I am just so exhausted. Thanks 🙏🏻!!!

Well, I hear all kinds, but I know that just because someone tells you that you are saved...doesn't mean you really are.. yes, there is power in prayer, but there is no "magic" in it.. surrender to God. If no change happened in your joy, something in your heart is being held back from God. Give it all to Him.
Also, God promises hardships in the Christian life. But the more hardships for His nane's sake, the greater the reward in Heaven. Don't give up. Keep seeking while He can still be found.

It’s a 20 minute talk that I’ve listened to a few times and it’s helped me when I’m in the same place as you. More than anything be strong in the Lord sister. I go all around town giving people tracts that declare specifically what the Gospel is and why it's important.
I might get a couple of moments at most before they have to move on.
I was, originally,driven into His Word to learn about who Jesus is and what He did...and convicted of sin by the Holy Spirit. So I know what it's all about. This led to my repentance and I experienced real salvation. Praise the Lord God of all strength and wisdom!! Only He can do this.....
But I am realizing now the pure benefit of confronting people with their sin, having them see it and challenging their off-perceptions of God. This is necessary. Often, I think people might just put the tract away and think, "Oh, that was such a brave man! Nobody else does that these days. There IS good in this world."
But that's it. I fear too many might forget about salvation 5 minutes later.
But as saved Christians we KNOW there is more. We have to engage people sometimes!
The Lord is certainly capable of reaching out and grabbing somebody to save them...no man brought me the Gospel. He just drove me into His Word to start with His Son and led me from there. I'm sure He CAN get the essential info into a person's mind with a tract....but I am certainly seeing the power of the most gracious Lord in what Ray does here.
I know He has been moving me towards preaching in this same way. All of us need to be able to do this.
