I really wish someone could give me a reaction from David to a live Velvet Revolver song, I'd really appreciate it! Scott Weiland was one of the fantastic frontmen. He put his soul out at every gig. Great showmanship, insanely stage interaction, great crowd interaction every time, I guarantee. (!) 💯 Scott🕊 was a beast. RIP💜✌
Super happy I got to see them in high school after I got really into GnR and Slash specifically. Went to concerts all the time I feel like… saw VR, U2, Shinedown, Etc.. seemed way cheaper back then.
I've always wondered what would have happened had Izzy Stradin not left GnR. Once he left, GnR lost their riff master. He was the groove to Slash's flair. Guess we will never know...
Not knocking you, David. Im just really surprised - like most of the time LOL - on how much of Rock/Metal you haven't heard. I think you missed out way back when Velvet Revolver released their two albums. The first one is a classic from start to finish. You would love it.
Such a great band, sadly underrated. I just love Matt Sorum on drums, a true meat potato drummer, allways fits the song with great grooves and fills. Straight in the pocket music. I love it
This whole album is pretty damn fantastic. I know there's quite a few songs off of both their albums that Dave would dig. Maybe I can catch an opening on Patreon one month and do another request. For me Velvet Revolver is Guns n Roses with a better singer lol. I know I'm saying something that will ruffle a lot of feathers but I'll take Scott Weiland over Axl Rose any day of the week.
I'm not a fan either. Axl Roses vocals always reminded me of If Eric Cartman from South Park was singing. I think it's all social status that gives him the credit.
Great album i loved when it was released..i know it not really that good now..scott was better in stp..and the second album was worse..loving the aliens the closer was my favourite

That was a great song for showing "F-you" to mr Rose from the former members of G'NR...

I loved this album when it was released. The chorus definitely has the STP sound which I guess Scott Weiland brought to the band.

Before the video started I predicted that you'd give it a 7.9, close enough.
Same energy as Crackerman!
Good

Loved this album when it came out. Maybe except for one or two songs I could listen to it on repeat. Scott was so talented. What a waste.
Love Scott but man Slash just bores the hell out of me
