The Wow Thing MV has some iconic idols for sure. Soyeon: (G)-idle's leader (Her and her group literally carry their whole company), Seulgi: Red velvet member, she is just iconic by existing, Chung Ha: former I.O.I. member and one of the best soloist out there (she recently came back with Eenie meenie and I'm Ready, not to mention the amount of iconic songs she has), and last but not least SinB: former Gfriend member, now member of Viviz (a sub unit of Gfriend formed after it's disbandment)(This group has some bangers too, Maniac, Untie, Pull Up...). Whoever had the idea of putting these girls together was a genious
Please check out "Anywhere but home" by Seulgi, it's my fav song on her album, it also comes with a mv!!😍(Bad boy sad girl is my 2nd fav)!! Also, love your reactions! Love to hear your thoughts on songs, even if you didn't vibe with them that much 😊Another recommendation would be Chung Ha's "I'm Ready" MV, she gagged me with that one 😫
Omg! You haven't heard/reacted (G)I-dle yet? I didn't know that. Damn, there's so much great stuff for you to discover. I'm somewhat envious tbh 😅 Yes, Soyeon is from (G)I-dle. (you can pronounce it either way as [gee-idle] or just [idle], but most reactors prefer the former). She's kind of a genius: she's one of the best rappers, she can sing very well too (both with a unique tone), she produced most of their songs, she writes the lyrics, she even concerns herself with the styling, choreo, etc. A visionair / control freak 😅. SinB [shin-bee] was from the very popular group G-Friend. She was the main dancer, and a vocalist. G-Friend unfortunately suddenly disbanded, and she rebuted with 2 fellow members as VIVIZ [vee-vee-zee]. Chungha was from the very popular group I.O.I., which was a temporary group (not even a year) that was formed through the show Produce 101. After the disbandment, she went solo. She's an amazing dancer and singer. Definitely check out her very recent comeback "I'm Ready (extended perf video)". You already know Seulgi a little bit. She has done another collaboration with Moonbyul of Mamamoo, called Selfish. Looking forward to see you getting to know these amazing artists.
I am so embarrassed! I thought for sure I would have suggested Wow Thing by now. My apologies. Wish it would have been promoted but it was just a special collab for SM Station. Also have you listened to "Vente Pa' Ca by Ricky Martin and Wendy?
Ahhh its okay. I had made a note of this song a while ago... It's FIRE!! and the MV is insane. No, i havent thanks for letting me know about it. I've added it to my list now. Wow our girl WENDY has done quite a few collabs I must say.. She stays working hard 🙌🏽
Hi there, Great reaction. So glad you discovered Wow Thing, it is a little known gem. Yes, that was Soyeon with the rap verse. She is the leader of (g)i-dle and has written and produced most of their music since they debuted only a few months before Wow Thing. She is one of the most credited female writers in the K-pop industry and under her leadership (g)i-dle have had perfect all-kill singles off four consecutive comebacks, the first ever k-pop girl group to do so. They have done a Killing Voice, too, if that’s your preferred way to discover a group. I’ve never quite understood how/why she got on board with this project as she is from Cube, not SM, and she is really more 4th generation than 2nd or 3rd like the others. Her rap is a breath of fresh air though and the whole project is a mood-booster.

Fun fact... those 4 girls had only one practice together to learn the "Wow Thing" choreography.
That's insane xx
