- After an incredible ROC Nations Cup on Saturday, the individual Race Of Champions had a lot to live up to. And it did. Re-live an unforgettable day of racing on the snow and ice of Pite Havsbad, Sweden.

As much as I still want mick to be in f1, he was completely in his element this weekend
Technically he's still in F1, just as reserve. Surely he'll get some FP rounds and maybe even a GP should one of the two main drivers be absent (likely not though as they seem to have a perfect attendance record)

just shows you how good Seb and Mick are, they only lost out to Mattias who has a lot of Experience in Rallycross.
Give them a different track and any F1 driver would crush him.

@@lu7459 Just invite Lewis, Max or Charles and there won't be any competition. An F1 driver plays in a league apart.
@@emanueledonazza473 I don't think thats how racing works my guy, its like comparing Downhill Mountainbikes to roadbikes. just because ur good at Formula class cars doesnt mean ur good in any car
@@lu7459 Sure, but all these races along the years proved that F1 drivers are comfortable in different scenarios. It's a fact and you too underlined it. I mean, try to Imagine Max Verstappen in this race. Would you really think he wouldn't win?
I think Mick Schumacher needs a career change. Forget F1, He’s absolutely on fire on the loose stuff. Hoping some WRC and RallyX team bosses are taking note!
He just needs a team change. Haas never had the resources to support and develop him like a mercedes team would. Hes f2 champ for a reason
@@JKearns98 don’t disagree- he’s a really talented guy. My comment was more admiring his brilliant drift skills not trying to knock him as an F1 driver. I’d rather see a talent like him competing in WRC or RallyX than in a reserve/test role if F1 bosses are too dumb to give him support.

@@JKearns98 He is a F2 champ because he was in the best team and won in his second year, also he didn't have any great competition.
He is overrated because of his name, there are far better drivers that deserve more chances than him.
That was one of the best roc i ve ever saw. What a Drama between vettel and Schumacher. The Underdog vs. The Rallye Legend on Ice in final. Absolute amazing. Congratulations ☝️👏👏👏 phenomenal Entertainment. Happy to see it again next year 😉
Great races (Solberg vs. Solberg, JK vs EKS, Mick vs. Seb etc.) and very(!) competetive field of drivers. What a great ROC this was.

This is one of the best RoC I've watched over the years! What an effort by the organisers to put this all together and keep the track in good shape over the 2 days. I was gutted Oliver didn't go all the way but nice to see Mattias take it. Great drama all round - can't wait for next years!
Its not good in a ROC way, cause this ice snow favors rallydrivers . And there are no motorbikedrivers like in the stadium. Just get tarmac back
@ThaDutchDK1989 And every single other event (except for last year) was on a track. There's been plenty of time for track drivers to win things.

Always amazed how versatile these drivers are. So many of them have excelled in multiple disciplines during their careers. A great tournament!… and I far prefer this style of track to the twisty go-kart tracks built in the stadiums 👍🏻👌🏻

I don't like stadiums either, but this format gives a huge advantage to WRX and WRC drivers, over asphalt ones.
Maybe there's a better compromise to be found.
But it's fun as hell for sure, and i love rallycross
Mick is a beast. Shows his skills against multiple f1 drivers. Just shows that he was doomed from the start at haas. Guenther only saw him as a cash cow.

Mick did a great job against such an experienced rally driver! I think he changes career to WRC he could win a championship!
Unless he has a true supernatural rallying skill, which I didn't see here, then sure. Otherwise, just like it happened to Kubica and Raikkonen, it would take him three to four years only to grab the basics, then some other years to outclass the WRC greats.
Bring it back to indoor racing. Rally drivers have too much of an advantage here.

every one talking about how great mick was (don't get me wrong, he was amazing). but to win when there is a fire inside is crazy. every driver was absolutely fantastic this weekend. ROC definitely has the greatest racing I know.
This finished at 3am for me, but you bet I watched every second of it. Another year of incredible skills and great motorsports camaraderie 🙌🏼
Mika took all of the Finnish character and left raikkonen with none.
