Just before were this started, Dave is introducing Shane. He said he has never seen anyone hit the drums harder than this kid. It was a touching moment.
My dad died in 1993 and I played this song over and over, when it came out. Now, watching Taylors beautiful son play this song, is truly cathartic. His dad is looking over him and will guide him thru this life, just like my dad has guided me thru mine. He is truly one talented young man and I can't wait to see where his path in life takes him. Thanks Pink! You always know how to touch my soul, with your reactions. ♥️
So emotional watching that at the end of the streamed show. Such talent, but Shane having the composure to do that at his age so soon after his Dads death is extraordinary. Did Taylor proud for sure!!
Great Reaction Beautiful Woman!! That boy beat his father's drum kit like it owed him money.. I'm sure his father was smiling down from heaven!!Heaven!!! ❤️🤘😎
I had seen this before. Taylor was the biggest Queen fan. Roger Taylor drummer had took Shawn under his wing. Brian May had Hawkins playing drums on some his tracks. Plus Brian & Roger played with Foo Fighters a lot. 🔥❤️🔥
Beautiful reaction. All the rage , grief and love were poured into those drums. Foos are always encouraging young talent. Check out very young Nandi Bushell destroying those drums with them!!!!!
Historic reference. What is a Foo Fighter. Name wwii pilots gave to ufo encounters they had on thier long trips to Germany. They called them Foo fighters. Love the band. Love you dear.
I remember in 2012, my Grandma passed away from lung cancer. During the cross-country drive I took to visit her one last time, at some point this came on while my iPod was on shuffle, and I just cried my eyes out.
Your reaction is as real as it gets. Shane Hawkins is phenomenal on those drums, the same kit his father Taylor Hawkins played on tour. 5 months after he lost his father. Lion-heart!! ♥️🎶🥁🎶💪💪♥️
I could literally see the lump form in your throat when the video started. This is such a precious tribute to an awesome man. I don't even really like Dave Grohl because of the total nonsense that ensued after Kurt's passing. But I have to give credit where credit is due & he did form an amazing band full of outrageously talented musicians w/ the Foo Fighters. I can see, hear & feel Shane's emotions in this performance. Taylor raised 1 helluva young man! I can feel God's presence in this performance so BIG! Like, YEEESSS! Shane was absolutely overtaken by The Spirit & his Dad's spirit was all over him as well! I love the pure, raw expressions you see in his face that are so telling. I love the innocent aggression that he was allowed to leave on that stage! And his talent, especially at his age, is so unbelievable! Amen! And hell yeah!
Wow you know your stuff! Love that you understand Rock music, and that Was Amazing, very emotional, I Love that you see how unfair it is for Rick nowadays
"Pink", after watching your Video, I am going to subscribe to your channel. Great Job, Great Narating! I really enjoyed watching this entire Video. Thanks, "Tiger" from Tiger Country Louisiana! Pink, what got you interested in Rock Music?
Hey Pink. Really good and genuine reaction. New subscriber here. I’m a huge Foo Fighters fan and I caught a lot of the tribute concert online and have been watching reactions to this particular video recently. Definitely a moment that makes you feel. When I watched the end of the video where you talked about the rock genre being unique it made me think of this because it relates to this video as well. I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of The Warning - a trio of young sisters who play hard rock music. (Actually - I see you reacted to one of their songs 3 years ago!) They opened for Foo Fighters in Mexico City just a week before Taylor passed in March 2022 and he and Dave had a ton of praise for them. Since you just honored Taylor (and Shane and Dave) with your reaction, I think you might be interested in this. Definitely worth checking out if you're open to it. Here is a link to a song they premiered that night called “Money” … th-cam.com/video/vm78KpEw3uw/w-d-xo.html. And here’s another headbanger called “Evolve” … th-cam.com/video/3_RB0tRI624/w-d-xo.html. Looking forward to exploring more of your videos!
You should react to Nightwish. Best symphonic metal band on earth. Actually just the best band that outs there. Start with Ghost love score life at the Wacken Concert of 2013.
Just before were this started, Dave is introducing Shane. He said he has never seen anyone hit the drums harder than this kid. It was a touching moment.
Especially from the guy who did the "Smells Like Teen Spirit" drop.

What amazes me is the mix has the drums turned way up. They really gave that young man his moment to honor his father.
Such an emotional performance, playing on his Dad's drum kit at his tribute but when he kissed the snare drum I lost it.
That young man did his Dad very proud.
That young man played his heart out. He played for his dad and his dad was watching. Truly a beautiful thing.

I was as blown away by his performance. Thank you for sharing this, beautiful girl!!!

Great reaction. I cried like a baby.
I had seen this before. Taylor was the biggest Queen fan. Roger Taylor drummer had took Shawn under his wing. Brian May had Hawkins playing drums on some his tracks. Plus Brian & Roger played with Foo Fighters a lot. 🔥❤️🔥
Thank you for mentioning the connection to Queen. Roger with Taylor, Taylor with Rufus, Rufus with Shane. The circle closed.
Beautiful reaction. All the rage , grief and love were poured into those drums. Foos are always encouraging young talent. Check out very young Nandi Bushell destroying those drums with them!!!!!

Like father, like son... RIP Taylor.
20/10
Thanks for the tears
Taylor definitely was within Shane on his drum kit. It is beautiful

Beautiful reaction. No lie. And you didn’t stop once. I’m sure it’s difficult to know how to react on TH-cam, but this was perfect. Thank you

You know exactly what you're talking about and you're absolutely right. Love you!
Love this song. (This is an awesome tribute.) Takes me back to my H.S. days. Sophomore year. Thanks for the video Pink. Love you! ❤️
Beautiful reaction to a beautiful performance.
I want so bad for Shane to carry on his dad's legacy and play with the foo fighters
Girl... love your reaction videos... been waiting for this... love from Ontario, Canada
I like your comments more than maybe any other, and there are a lot of good ones out here.
From about 4:25 on…took my breath away. Just WOW!
As a man I'm not supposed to cry but loosing my father who was a great guitar player he's in the Atlanta hall of fame..this gets me every time.
That little kiss though 😢
Glad to see you back Pink

I highly recommend Paulo Nutini "No other way" live at the loft
Dave's performance of everlong at this concert is heartbreaking
The 5 remaining Foo members were so proud.
Did you notice the right drumstick is a little shorter than the other one by the end???
Would react to Shinedown Planet 🌎 Zero off their new album 💿. Shinedown has more #1s than any other rock band. They been going for 20yrs. 🎃
6 minute mark he kisses his dad’s drums before his starts the last solo
It's actually a year ago today since taylor passed away
Dave lost kurt cobain when he was the drummer in nirvana and then lost Taylor when he was the lead in foo fighters
Bryan Adams...(Everything I Do) I Do It For You (Official Music Video) you will love it
Hey pink for most I love ya girl always have. Can you do a reaction with Soul Alyslim, "Someone to shove" please hit me up I love you!
You should react to the new Polyphia/Steve Vai song "Ego Death".....it's amazing, especially the last 2 minutes.
You should react to Nightwish. Best symphonic metal band on earth. Actually just the best band that outs there. Start with Ghost love score life at the Wacken Concert of 2013.
Pink, you are my new TH-cam crush. You're so cute.
If you haven’t seen it yet. Try the video “Janie’s got a gun” by Aerosmith and grab a box of tissues
If you want emotional and moving from another genre, you can check out some of DMX music
React now to Behemoth
How's it going?
Poor Foo Fighters. First they lost Taylor and then they lost mama Grohl
If you think this song is powerful, you should check out "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica
Please, please listen to PENTATONIX!!
React to Greta Van Fleet “Heat Above”
Shane played a couple of 2 beats, and he hit the drums too hard. It sounded like he was just nervous.
Yeah, just nervous, not like he was playing a tribute to his dead father in front of tens of thousands of people. By all means continue to critique.
