Instead he resorted to blue as a last ditch effort against Broly’s overwhelming power. I guess Goku will never get another chance at UI until he completes Whis’ training. Vegeta even got a taste of UI in the Tournament of Power. Can’t wait to see that.

All it says is that god turns into blue in a burst of energy. The ultra instinct stuff was just a design choice and was basically a little reference. There was absolutely no narrative elements behind it
Kakashi hatake he doesn't try to turn ui😂😂 in the movie when his hair goes white when turning ssjb it was just a small transition color when going to blue...just like vegeta when he was turning ssj his hair went green because it's the color transition.... In the the dragon ball super broly movie the animators decided to show us how beautiful the color change and details when turning into a form....

People say: "At least he should have used Blue Kaioken" No. If he did this,or UI, Broly would power up and adapt to the form too. This is the same reason why Vegeta shouldn't use Blue Evolved. Broly would have enough time to adapt to the form with his power. The reason they resorted to Gogeta is one,so that the movie gets more hype with not only the canonization of Broly,but also that of Gogeta. And two, so that Gogeta would be a huge power gap from Broly to adapt to. Although he got Full Power,he was still manhandled by Gogeta Blue. If it weren't for Cheelai's wish, Broly would've just died, Gogeta was going for the kill.

Because he can’t always do it he needed something to absorb as an upgrade like the spirit bomb which gave him Ultra instinct in the first place so maybe if goku got hit with a big energy blast from broly he could go ultra instinct but broly doesn’t even know how to use energy beams

I just wanna say, doesn't Mastered Ultra Instinct look small? Yeah he's an amazing figure I'd recommend you to get him but if you scale him with Full Power Jiren now, Jiren is like huge he's like the same height as a miniature version of a lego version. I cannot understand why. In the anime he and Jiren are practically the same height but in the action figures they pale in comparison. Is this a factory mistake or did they mistake Goku's height for Golden Frieza's? Since he's not the same height as Jiren so I might have to say that's probably their only excuse but does anybody know the reason?
