This song begins my day and ends it. I am on a spiritual discourse and hence have given up all assumptions about the existence of God. But listening to such songs, either sufi or not, make me cry. The devotional essence of a song like this reminds me the actually beautiful side of religion. Shafaqat sa'ab and Ahmed sa'ab have voices that are in perfect harmony with the crux of the song. The chorus binds a spell on you and the lyrics are beautiful. I am short on words on how I can describe the beauty of this song. No assumptions here, and no conclusions. I am spellbound, and in love.

I believe it's wrong to ever come to a quick conclusion to any CSP production. One should take time to listen to a creation and get used to it and understand the beauty, effort and unparalleled dedication that might have gone behind it. This Hamd is again a masterpiece in itself. Since a month, I have been listening to it in loop. And it has never failed to surprise me. I can't put in words how much I fell in love with the words, the meaning and the honesty with which it has been performed. Every time I understand it a bit more than the last time and it helps me see the beauty of the ultimate power. It really helps me to come to terms with so many pains and conflicts in life and also acts as a source of peace within... When life is hard and nothing else helps, surrendering to God seems to be the only way. And creations like these just act as the perfect medium to do so. Also, Ahmed Jahanzeb is such a crazy good singer. His pitchings are perfect and his command on his voice is outstanding. His years of classical training speaks for itself in his performances.
