I think we would all appreciate you mixing in the losses. I know I don’t win every session. 5/10/25 I was card dead for hours last night. Ran into it, got coolered, and got rivered. It was ugly, lol. But I think your viewers especially a rec player really needs to know. It’s not always wins. As the stakes go up so does the quality of play. GL
Keep up the winning streak Aero! Lately I have another couple winning sessions especially yesterday I was up 1K with a big fish pay me off in a cooler situation. If I can keep up the winning streaks for couple more months, I will be able to go to 35 level just like you with buy in of 1500. Thanks for your help and coaching skills along the way again! ✌️
Wahoo!!! Super stoked I finally won! I think the fold with Qs as played is totally fine ... I have been experimenting with betting small again in spots like that to keep control of the betting lead and get value from worse ... also I think against the player pool as a whole they tend to underbluff and just call with their draws in spots like those. Plus we have a pretty definitive nut advantage on that board despite the draw heavy texture. Please let me know what you need for me to claim the $100 and when the final drawing is for the coaching package.
Aero: You did the right fold eve though it was a wrong fold to AJ with K on the turn her bet was really polarized. Definitely represents strength with 2 pair plus. Yesterday I folded KK on the flop of Q84 rainbow, opponent checked raise me on the flop I made the instant fold also. Folding with the intention ahead of time as your valuable line. The opponent didn’t show what he had though hope I made the right decision
I really don’t mind the fold on the QQ HAND. I mean all sets and 2pair combos would play this in a similar manner so best to just fold and watch her for a bit to get any reads off of her. 923
Unless you knew how she played, I think folding QQ is +EV in the long term. For the JT hand, I think I would have bet on the flop and small on the turn. But I think I would have checked or bet smaller on the river. What worse hands would you target for a call? Overall, good session!
Aero: you are right about the concept. If we get dealt 10000 hands our odds is the same. But outcome would be different accordingly to the players. I told somebody that concept other day but that person saids it’s game of luck, if you win you are just on the heater. Which I hope that person is always on the same table as me definitely a fish

In the AJ vs A10 hand, a lot of times I check back river with mediocre hands being afraid of getting check raised on the river. I hate getting check raised on the river. So if I don’t have a strong 2 pairs I check. I would have missed out on the extra $100 river bet. =P 531
Good advice but it’s a pain when the big pots I go in 9 to 1 favorite to win and I lose those. Poker is a marathon but winning small pots and losing big ones don’t help either in my case.
@@MikeKoler my day job is being a dad and husband! 😀 Going grocery shopping, cooking, feeding the pets, putting up the Halloween decor...! I personally think the night hours are best.
I think I definitely would have played the KJ flush hand exactly the same way, especially in position. A 3-bet on the turn after he already raised big into 2 people just looks so, so nutted-unfortunate that he did have one of the hands that would have called off though. But since you put him on a flush, did you consider shoving the river even after the board paired, targeting the Q or T high flushes? (For what it’s worth I would have gone for the same non all-in size you did to allow smaller flushes to call-just curious if it was a consideration).

One of the most common mistake players make, which I mention time and time again, is bet sizing. You don't get drawn out on nearly as often if you don't give your opponents the right price to proceed. Yes?
@AeroPlaysPoker to answer ur question, true! I play mostly 1/3... at local casino out east coast. And I have paid attention to my bet sizing more often over last 2 years. However I still find myself getting 4 card to straight/ flush or random 2 paired on
On the KJhh hand just shove and not risk an action killing river unless V is a maniac capable of bluffing any river. You’ll lose the two pair combos but all sets and flushes will call off. I don’t think two pair pays you off on any river that doesn’t boat up anyway.
457... Oh wait it's October now! I probably call QQ but I'm a fish. With your flush a bigger initial bet would get all the money. But why not jam anyways. Are they really folding flushes, even if they are lower?
It depends on the opponent and how big the flush is. If it's a baby flush and he already check-raised to 300, and then I go on top for an additional 1100, most people will fold there.
@@tomprice4016 This is 2-5 deep stack in a multi-way situation, not a 1-3 or 2-5 100 BB game. It would be suicidal for someone to check-raise that big without a flush there.

There's no way I'm calling an overbet on that flop out of position. There's also no way pocket Aces is going to fold to your turn shove there. I would have check-shoved the flop, putting fold equity on my side.
