Awesome bro. You got your skills down well
Tristin, your bow making skills are excellent. Here’s a tip- instead of a Flemish twist type for the top loop when making a bowstring, just tie a bowline knot to secure the loop.If you tie the knot correctly, it will never slip. And it’s so much easier and quicker than Flemish tying the bowstring at the loop end.
Try it!! Works great!👍
Thank you for sharing these amazing videos and they are all so respectful and clean and educational. Did you make the bow yourself? Take care and God Bless. 💖💖💖
you should use a gopro with a head mount so you don't have to set up the camera.
Dude, that was a heck of a shot!!!! You’re dang good with that thing! Nice work.
Awesome video, man you make me want another bow lol.
Livin’ the dream!
Hi my friend..its a great bow..can you write mi dimensions of your bow..I smo from Croatia in Europa.we have a long bow tradition, but Im very interesting for these kind of short bows..

Super good videos.💯. Keep making videos like that.
Good job

These videos are brilliant and have fully inspired me to get back into bowyery, I've made 3 short bows in 3 weeks and a good few arrows with trade points
Thank you sir ,cant wait for more,I bought a Osage bow and a hickory one ,I need to go out and shoot.
So if you wanted to purchase a flat bow/Comanche bow where would you look?
Look man, you know I'm getting into these videos. 💪🇺🇲
Greetings to you and everyone
I enjoyed this video very much. I hope you can hunt a deer next time.❤❤❤.your shooting is absolutely good.
Awesome video Tristen, I was wondering what your bow case and quiver dimensions are, anyways keep up the good work! 🎉
Great shooting partner!
Love these videos
Awesome hunt! Great shot ... I grew up hunting small game with a bow ... very fun
I am from South Africa.n Osage orange by us
.I will try black wattle then.
Love the feeling when you work at something. Put the time in and finally it starts to pay off
Hey Tristin, how long is your bow nock-to-nock?
45” long and 50lbs at a 20” draw. Thanks for watching!
That's gonna be my next build
@@tristinriddle101 it's impressive that you were able to reach 200 yards with it, but since I've seen your videos building them, just a curious question / what do you think of the idea of building a short penobscot style bow like that, just to increase it's poundage to 80 or 90 lbs at 20", not that you would need it, but just for fun, to see how far such a thing could shoot and how fast it could shoot with the same type of short Comanche arrows, if you can reach 200 yards with the bow you currently have, maybe you could reach way further with the one I mentioned // Why a penobscot style ?? well, you'll probably know the answer to that better then me, but I've read that these short selfbows can only max out at 70 lbs or so, maybe I'm wrong on this, but if one goes higher then 70 lbs that One piece of wooden stave would not be able to handle the stresses with such short length, However two pieces of wooden staves should be able to handle higher poundages since they get distributed on both the main bow and back bow
I've been on a search looking for a comanche bow and haven't been able to find one
Nice shot on th Quail, 👌 😊
Was the the stone point you found an Artifact
I am from Cambodia🇰🇭
Oho my friend is there a video on making this i wanna try
🖐️🙂👍🇰🇿🏹
The first time I saw a javelina track I though, what kind of mini deer live here in Arizona? Thanks for the really cool videos and I'm looking forward to more 🙂
Olá muito bom Vídeo, vantagem deste arco é que ele é curto bom para carregar no mato, incrível potencial!!!
I love these videos, I want to make videos just like this too
ya you shoot good
I like your videos. Hello from Maine
Good vibe pure stoke
Where can I get a short bow
I mean..BOW
👍
With all due respect since this is your property, please leave any artifacts you find where they are and document using accept archaeological practices. Thank you for sharing your journey with that beautiful bow.
No way that's stupid
@@oakridgeboy2023 What an insightful response, thank you.
With respect in turn of your own, i respond. While i would whole heartedly agree with a burial/sacred site remaining undisturbed, i feel a discarded arrowhead (as the piece of flint almost doubtlessly was.) would hardly hold any reverence to it’s previous owner. Just a thought.
I would keep anything that I found and let it pass down from generation to generation in my family or I would leave it there out of respect
Very cool, am I mistaken or does that arrow look wavy? I’ve had some of my shafts like that and they still fly great New here so need to see if you have bow and arrow making vids. Nice shooting 👍
