Even though i'll likely *never* own a RB i've always wanted the full story of the N1 block... That "Motive Video" comparison they did like 4 years ago really presented more questions than answers lol
so awesome. . the n1 block, the machining, all the HKS bits inside, the vct, and what they did to the head. im kinda an HKS fanboy. but I think you get what you pay for with this. i mean; if you want the "perfect" stock "R" car, and you are going to pay 40k for a stage 2 rb28 engine, then you might as well pay 70. . .lol so sick! pace, eturn
Geez. I’m building a Nitto 2.8 with all the bells and whistles, and it’s costing me about 1/4 of that. Billet crank in an 05U block should be good for 1000+ horsepower. No V cam in mine though. But going BW EFR turbo which should have awesome response! I wish I had the money for one of these!!! Epic build! And in an R34 too?!? SO SICK! Do these HKS engines come with a Main girdle brace or any sort of bracing? I got a PRP brace on mine. This is my first big power AWD build.
Sad part is you can buy the 2.8 step 3 stroker kit crank and the entire built head with v cam for about 35k and just build your motor and have a machine shop do all the block work 75k or 40k for the same thing add 10k and you can have a billet block 🤷🏻♂️
Don't forget the coil pack conversion, oil pump upgrades, N1 block, trigger kit, balancer, step 3 cam, prep, and the fact that HKS does all of the machine work, lightening, balancing, and assembly in-house. This is a privilege build. Not a power grab.
@@JackCecil I’m not disagreeing that the hks piece is beautiful and obv worth the $ to some people just like you said in the video “it’s not for everyone “ I did some rough 45 second research and looked at prices and for 50-60k you can have the same step 3 stroker with cam with a billet block 40-50 with a factory block sure hks isn’t going to blueprint and balance the rotating assembly but any half decent machine shop can do the same job
Motive video did a nice feature a while back where they measured the bore thickness and hardness of the various RB blocks and they found the n1 to have the same 'meat' as normal rb25/26 blocks. I guess its some re-assurance but then again RBs blow up constantly so... meh. At least its some florida man rich guys money and not mine
rad af fam and i might have to get one them jump pack cuz always dead batteries lol ... peace and love jack keep it rad stay safe and build on ... ps do u still do remote tuning and if so how do i get in contact with ya plz and ty ... l8z stay safe bro
These aren't "bulletproof" or anything. Nor do they claim to be. They are finely spec'd out components for a distinguished build. Highly valued collectors piece.
Lol, 75k motor, i could build a 1500hp motor for a gtr and have enough left over for a sequential gearbox. HKS isn't the be all and end all of anything... personally, stupidly over priced
Whether it's a lawn tractor, an E-Bike, or a tuner car... I will watch Jack do any kind of project. Great content buddy
Jack keeping us all sitting on the edge of our chairs, with this HKS build.. thanks for the ab work out man :D

❤HKS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👌
Yoooo I bought that turbo 2 from you love to see that 34 getting those goodies !!!!!
The fact you have something HKS related that tommy don’t tickles my pickle ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Haha and no matter what, there's only one "first". 🙂
the king of motors I love HKS

I'd love to

Great video jack!!
That's awesome project. But imagine engine like this coupled to a sequential gearbox. That would be legendary imo.
10/10 video 🔥🔥
This is literally a dream
You should do a video where you build something identical and see the price difference.

What’s the total price of the build looking like?
somebody clean/refurbish those headlights. you can even buy new clear covers
Peanut butter and jealous. Great content, as always
Stroker Motor... If you want more inches STROKE IT..!
Did you sleep in the engine box?...

Thank you. And yes i do remote tuning! You can hit the contact form on our website.
@@JackCecil sweet will do n cant weight to see this animal done ps i wanna ride in dusty 😢 😢 😂 😂
Why i got the feeling u pay 25k just for the name?! Cool asf tho.
Collectibility and quality have their price.
😎👍

Don't show this to whistlindiesel!
He'll buy 5 of em just to nuke em 🤣
His point is valid tho

@@JackCecil 90% of them will end up in museums/collections. Where their heritage rightfully belong
That was a H beam rod….. no?
