How is a critique to use less of a color? It's literally just a color.... So what you like to base your work around the color pink? It doesn't hurt anyone plus you add other colors so it's not even over used imo.... Idk that's dumb, if it was me personally I would have kept using any color I like.
I don't understand your professor not wanting more pink... shouldn't illustration and creating things be individual and embrace and reflect who the person behind them is, shouldn't we support people in making things they enjoy the best that they will also be the best at?
