Thanks for sharing, I don't have a P1S yet but I will be ordering it before the Black Friday Sales end on BBL site. As for the plate I would probably use what is sent with the P1S. However I do like the color scheme you used for your riser. Happy printing.
I prefer the smooth plate because I don't like the textured finish for most parts. But instead of glue stick, I use SuperSticky from Lone Star Makers. It's easier to apply and a lot less messy - it doesn't leave residue on the prints. Works great!
I use the high heat smooth plate. Works great, looks great. Though I have yet had good luck with Overture PETG. Did you only use supports on the build plate?!?

I definitely have to check that out. Thanks!
smooth plates can show more layer lines but mostly they are nice.
Thanks for the info. I really like it so far but would like to be able to change beds between printers in the Handy app.
Thanks for the video. I'm about to order the p1s and get into the rc world. What hotend nozzle size is required for bambu areo lw-pla? Thanks
I used a the standard .4mm nozzle that came on the P1P/S. Definitely check out Kyle's Designs on FB if you want some really cool builds.

Yes, I try to only do supports on the build plate only if I can get away with it.
What petg is this?
I used Overture.
I would buy outright the riser for the ams instead of all that ime printing it
