I planted a garden on the roof a few days ago. Came back after a day of questing and came back to 90% of my super corn and 75% of my normal corn in rubble piles. Took everything that survived and replanted in the actual ground.
You most likely had some blocks like 7 tiles away from support. Add there growing block and plant atop it and it makes 9 witch will cause collapse and bringing some other blocks down too.
I once had a massive base built in a large building with the roof covered in farm(alpha 14. IIRC). One of my buddies I was playing with was mining at bedrock level, not even realizing his was below the base, and the whole building collapsed suddenly. It was quite devastating. I quit playing for a few weeks after that.
Hi Kage, I have learned a few things of A20 I think. My stage III trader was a big city in the forest. So I moved in. I noticed the Z,s are alot worse. Cops, zombie dogs, ferals. IN the street randomly spawning. And with feral scent, you get harassed alot like when you used to build in the wasteland. As for AI, it is more random it seems. I made a 1 1/2 block high entrance for me to crouch through. A tunnel. But the Z's attack the building instead of crawling through the tunnel even with an open door to me. However, a few times they did decide to crawl through and got to me. They seem to make a decision on whether to path or to attack the building. The spikes are good though. The metal spikes kill quick. They seem to do alot of damage to blocks. At least the big fat guy. So an old fashion base where you fight through a wall may fall fast. I going to try it on day 14.
Zombies eat cobblestone, and pathing is weird. I only had 3 sides of my wall built, but they tore thru it instead of walking around to the open side. Good news, they don't avoid spikes.
Iron Gut, along with Living off the Land is S tier this update. Lets you farm more and also you lose hunger/water slower. The Pipe shotgun reload sucks... put a Bandolier on and a point or two in shotguns and it becomes viable early game. with Shotgun Ammo being so easy to find/make and it only requiring a single pipe to fully repair
Living off the land doesn't just let you farm more if you haven't maxed it you can't actually farm because you have to get the seed back to replant or you don't have enough to replant that crop most people are operating at a loss if they have less than all the points in it.
As it is now, all pipe weapons are more-less pointless with exception of rifle for shooting rabbits. When you get max-rank weapons which might be somewhat useful with all mods - you already have much better normal weapons available. Pipe shotgun is waste of ammo you could use later. Spear and bow do better job.
I never understood reason of going to fistfight to zombies but I see that they have increased range to match weapons. I guess you do it for us. However it seems really bad damage compared to weapons but maybe it evens out later. Your building has 10x more support then it ever needs, there is now way it would collapse unless devs changed something dramatically. Every wall tile can carry 8 similar blocks to any direction.
Naming your kids are you causes problems with identity, credit score. Mail and medical records. I've experienced this with my father. Do not name your kids after you
love the vids kage n company!...As for comsole versions there wont be anymore updates for the current ps4\xbox versions they plan to bring out a new verison on the ps5\xbox once pc version reaches full game :(
I generally go with a sneak build. I'm not good with close contact. It's doesn't work well in a group setting with POI's and it is a bit slower getting through them.. But being able to basically walk right up to them and take um out one by one, is my preferred method. I also have a bow on me at all times. On horde night when the guys are starting to get overrun on the ground, a high bow skill and exploding arrows helps a lot. Not only can you potentially take out multiple zombies but also knock them down giving your ground team time maneuver..

Sloped roof exist to divert rainwater, so your rooftop farm won't flood itself to rot.

Just a heads up. When you and autumn both play there is minor echo delay between your headsets. Not terrible unless autumn gets really excited lol

I've found when placing crops at ground level (still in farm plots) they show as white... this elevated change in color is concerning =^.^=
Maybe find a screen shot of what was in the food box & spawn it in to replace it?

Bow is ok but sneak build will become real good with crossbow which does lot more sneak damage and is way easier to aim.
