Mao Naga Chiithuni Pfoki Kapra || 2024

Chiithuni Pfoki Kapra is the festival celebration of new year in a tradition way by the the Mao-Naga Community of Manipur every year. This year too Chiithuni Pfoki Kapra was Celebrated on 10th of January. The festival is held over a period of 6 days with each day holding an important function. It is believed that the rituals practised during the festival are a means for the villagers to request the gods and their ancestors to guide them throughout the year. On this special day, they showcase their richness of traditional attire. so come and be apart of this celebration. Thank you
