Okay, so when you added that integer line, it began to show "25" instead of the message string bit. How does it decide which phrase to choose, and how can you get it to show "this is a message string" again?
hey, I have a theory paper based on VS 2005, would learning from this be enough or should I learn only 2005, how much is the difference between the two? sir, I need your immediate reply.
I just confuse.. what does dim stand for in VB ? why we should use dim to declare in VB, whether we can use other statement ? such as sim, mis, sum, count, mid, etc. plese give me some reason for it
zakaria hasan Dim is short for "Dimension". Think of it as a special reserved storage capsule within the total memory space. It's essentially like saying, "Set aside enough memory to hold the Type of data I want to store in this variable." The *Dim* keyword is not required to declare a variable only when using specific access modifiers [Public, Private, etc.] When using access modifiers, Dim is implied. [e.g., Private myInt As Integer] You cannot use a method to *declare* a variable; However, you may populate a variable with a Function.

I see "Declare in Memory" as a better meaning as it describes what it does in current versions of the language, but it is not the proper meaning. I
