    I am very excited to learn this package and start implementing it. I think It can be a big hit because we all know that R is criticised for being slow on running ML algorithms, and there are not many options yet to enhance the power of the server.

    Very good presentation. But error on my MacBook running R 3.4.4 and spark 2.6.1.0-129 says "sparklyr does not support Spark version: 2.6.1.0". Do you know how to resolve this?

    Nice talk. If you stay on your local MacBook can you see a différence (speedwise) for glms on say 100k observations?
