    Do you have to leave in room temperature for the split or can you put in the fridge right away?

    • @ZoeyandVFam
      @ZoeyandVFam  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I recommend leaving at room temp to achieve the split effect. You can put in fridge and depending on fridge temp it may or may not split. If too cold it will not separate well as it firms quickly.

    Does it have to be that particular type of gelatin? I have the Thai kind.

    • @ZoeyandVFam
      @ZoeyandVFam  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, if your using agar-agar it’ll be too stiff. I personally don’t like afar cause if stiffness. I’ll post tutorial on agar-agar soon.

    • @ZoeyandVFam
      @ZoeyandVFam  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It can be any type of unflavored gelatin, such as any brand.

    Where do you buy the Gelatine?

    • @ZoeyandVFam
      @ZoeyandVFam  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, it should be available at most American grocery store in the isle where jello or canning jam is sold.

      How big of a tray??

    • @georgievang77
      @georgievang77 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      One large tray

    • @ZoeyandVFam
      @ZoeyandVFam  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If it’s one large foil tray you’ll need to do about 4 batch.

    Hello. I see ur using 8 envelopes of Knox gelatine. Will the recipe work with 4 envelopes or it’s not firm enough if use only 4. I try that n it did not work. Why.

    • @ZoeyandVFam
      @ZoeyandVFam  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can use 4 envelopes but you’ll have to cut the rest of the ingredients in half for the jello to turn out.

    What’s the difference between agar agar and gelatin?

    • @ZoeyandVFam
      @ZoeyandVFam  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Agar agar is a vegetarian substitute for gelatin and it’s firms up more than gelatin.

    • @ZoeyandVFam
      @ZoeyandVFam  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Gelatin taste better than agar agar in my preference for these jello. Some may say differently.

      Thank you for the info I didn’t know that. Lol I did agar agar the late time and I was a bit confused why you used gelatin. It makes a lot of sense now :) thank you.
