- This track is using sounds only from one of the most unique synthesizers ever made, The Schmidt EightVoice Analog Synthesizer! Only 50 units will be made. Each voice has 4 oscillators and 7 filters. Flexible routing and also the best looking synthesizer on the planet! The track is called Mr Schmidt and is included on the Firechild album Parsifal (2017). Produced and composed by www.firechild.se

I love this sound. golden years of electronic music. Jarre, Vangelis, Tangerine. futuristic sound of the past. in the 70's the music sounds like we are in year 2050.

Could someone explain this to me? Is it so you can choose which filter you want right? Certainly you wouldn't use more than 1 or 2, maybe 3 (LP, HP, Notch might sound good for a patch or two). I have a Deckard's Dream and have learned firsthand about how nice a LP&HP can sound. But wouldn't 7 filters take just a little too much out of the sound?

It definitely sounds great! I love it when people can actually make music on such demonstration videos and not just "squeeze out some sounds out of it"! I ´m not sure wether the price of this "apparatus" is really justified, but it definitely is one of the best you can buy!

This does sound awesome, but I'll bet that three Moog Ones or two Waldorf Quantums PLUS a Moog One, would also sound pretty amazing. And you could buy them for the price of this. With change left over.

Nice piece and an amazing synth. Spent 5 years composing on a Roland system 700 modular, the sounds I got out of that beast have never heard on any recording to date.

After listening and watching a few videos I’m of the opinion that in the hands of Mr Firechild pretty any synth he plays sounds great, Behringer or Moog all sound pretty much the same when he gets his mitts on them. Kudos to the sound and playing.
Demand was so high that they continued to build it. Currently they are building the third batch of 25 pcs.
