Guepard is great for hunting subs, with the most charges of any dd, a ASW score only one less than the british DD, and fast speeds that let you easily over take DDs. Good guns let you punish surfaced subs heavily as well

As SS -> Deep dive and move into another direction. The DD will lose track. That works mostly only good, if the SS is not the last remaining player, of course ^^ Ps.: It looks like, that TopTier often drops the DC too early

You must install the „TST Instance“ in the Game-Client. ~37GB...later you have to the TST Instance to Play. The TST-Servers are only online at 2 Prime-Times every day. For the complete instructions, have a look in „News“ in your Standard-Client (Left Corner, click on Nickname)
13:47 a slight but important mistake: submarines can be shot with shells (He is most effective) and bombed/rocket striked by cv aircraft up to 10 meters depth (it`s in the update file and I tested it). In the previous iteration it used to be 3 meter depth and allowed for the "bobbing technique" which was infuriating to deal with luckyly they fixed that issue, however subs are now immune to each others' torpedoes (unintended bug)... ah well it is a test but that one was a bit eh..... I also tested the bombers from BB's and heavy cruisers: you can hit surface ships with them (behind islands if you aim well) and cause occasionally floodings on them. BB's can cause floodings with this! I love those bombers, they dont spot (perfect! it would be infuriatingly OP if they could) but those bombers are a pretty cool addition to the arsenal with a good cooldown and weak damage, but they do work.
@@m.y8249 yeah it has happened in real life but only with planed dropped ones because they are armed differently and the velocity of them falling and ships can blow up if there depth charges blow up by getting shot

Really? From what i've read pinging the same section twice will make torpedos ignore torpedo protection and DDs have 0 % of that so get full damage anyway. 🤔
@@enty_thebest4155 ah, well, there are Subs that just have torps with higher damage. So some subs can certainly one shot certain DDs. The same as some DDs can one shot other DDs with a single torp.
LIke everyone else, I see huge end-of-game problems with subs dragging out a game for 10 minutes after the match was already effectively decided. That will not be fun.

You need to install the testserver, they explain it in the launcher. I dont want to because 24GB for a few hours of play is to much for me.

It also doesnt work when other submarines are around, since they have a 4.5 km instant detection radius underwater and keep you perma spotted.

The homing torpedo mechanic is totally broken and is ridiculous. A new level of toxicity has entered the game.
They look very annoying to deal with being spotted for that long in a dd in most cases will get you shredded
they should implement the spotted like radar only for the sub or planes in case of cv but not for the rest of the team only a map icon
