Putri Salad Pulut Hitam/Black Glutinous Rice with Pandan Custard (Please read below for Recipe)

  • Ingredients:
    (A):
    3/4 cup Black Glutinous Rice
    2/3 cup White Glutinous Rice
    1 tsp salt
    1 cup coconut cream
    2 tie of pandan leaf (optional)
    (B):
    3 eggs
    250 ml coconut cream
    3/4 Sugar (depending on your taste)
    Dash of salt
    1 tbsp of corn flour
    1 tsp of pandan paste
    2 tie of pandan leaf (optional)
    (C):
    1) Mix the Black Glutinous Rice with coconut cream add Salt and the 2 tie pandan leaf.
    Steam it for 30 mins.
    After 30 mins add in the White Glutinous Rice
    And steam for another 20 mins.
    2) Mix the (B) ingredients on pan mix well
    Heat the pan in medium heat.
    Mix well the ingredients and add gradually the corn flour making sure there’s no lump mix well and about 6-7 mins off the heat.
    3) When the glutinous rice is cook, add in
    The pandan custard on top spread it and steam it for another 20 mins off heat and let it cool and it’s ready for evening dessert with tea or coffee.
