I think my favourite Ursula Le Guin is the short story collection, The Birthday of the World, but I did enjoy her early Hainish novels too. I've been umming and ahhing about The Cazolet Chronicles so may have to take the plunge!

I tend towards her later stuff, I love all of it though. I can't recommend the Cazalets enough.

I don’t have time to watch this right now but I laughed so hard at the thumbnail! One of your best yet!

I almost fell out of my chair when you picked Peter O'Toole as your favorite actor. I thought I would be the only one eccentric enough (or old enough) to choose him:).
And yes, I loved that thumbnail! I recognized it right away.

I love an eccentric type. Him, Burton, Harris, and Guinness, were all interesting people and it comes through.

I’m rubbish at picking favorites for anything so well done for narrowing it down. Completely clueless when it comes to films and music past the nineties too so I appreciate some of your nostalgic answers and of course the inspirational mum story!

Hi Aaron. I really enjoyed your responses to this tag, and I love that you named your mother as an inspirational person. Very thoughtful answers!

I just discovered Kate Bush last year and love her. Love Tina Fey too,and 30 Rock is one of my favorite shows. Every time I say the word camera, I hear “cam-er-rah” in my head 😂. Lovely to mention your mom. Fun tag 😊

From Stranger Things? That was so great because she went to number 1 in the UK. She's so odd, and some of her songs were written when she was in her early teens.

@@AaronReadABook yep, Stranger Things. My 14 yr old was obsessed with that song. We used to look all over the flea market to try to find her Hounds of Love cassette. We never found it. :P

Great t-shirt. Big Star Trek fan. Not sure if you’ve read Patrick Stewart’s memoir, but it was quite interesting hearing about his acting history.
This is a fun tag. It’s so interesting hearing about people’s favorite people outside of books. 😅 Love the shoutout to mom for your final question.

No but I remember seeing him with hair in 'I, Claudius' which was a shock. I do want to read that as he seems lovely.

Ursula Le Guin books are my favourite things to hunt down in creepy old used bookstores 😅. No matter where it is or what kind of books they have there, they will ALWAYS have loads of Ursula Le Guin books with amazing covers I've never seen before 😅❤. Awww Tom Hanks! Yes!! I feel like he's such a nice guy and so underrated! ❤.

I swear Wales is some sort of book dreamland, I never find secondhand Le Guin! These are all off ebay.

@@AaronReadABook Oh man really?! I guess, to be fair, most of the truly decrepit and chaotic bookstores I end up in are back home in America. Tacoma Washington has had a smoking ban for at least 20 years, but at the last bookstore I went to there, a massive dude was behind the counter chain smoking the entire time we were there 😅, and there were definitely Le Guin books there 😅. Maybe Le Guin is too popular in England to end up in bookish dead zones? 😭❤️.

I love the song Between the Bars, especially in the version of Madeleine Peyroux, probably because I first heard it from her...

There are lots of great covers of his songs, and lots of musicians love him. I'd not heard this one before but I like it, it's different.

Ooh love those old mmpbs of leguins!
Red Shoes is such epic drama, I used to love that one.
What's a good place to start with the Mitfords? I've been curious and know virtually nothing other than them being these big mover shaker socialites who were really unusual.
