WTF SMH
My jewelry is disgusting but let’s discuss the taste I’m in another place
This whole sh*t is in shambles
Low vibrational levels
Riders never get canceled, never
WTF SMH
This ain’t that H&M
This that scully over your face
Real life nightmares
Enemies cuttin’ your breaks
These suckers lower than snakes so watch where you valet
Demonic motherf*ckers, what you do come back God bless the trap, but I wanna see you untrapped Plottin’ on another man and his possessions is wack One on one with your opp, all they see is two dumb blacks WTF SMH OMG
How could you put these pu**y a** rappers over me? When all they do is cap
All they do is LIE
I’m LMFAO
Esco heavy in the streets
Fresh back off tour
The mic still smokin’ I ain’t once go hoarse
I never take a day off from this fly shit that I’m on Come on
Please get your lady off’a my horn
She told me she astral plane now
She explain how
Her spirit leave her body every time we hang out She said she got her main now
She got a king now
It’s a phase now
Cuz she still gonna come and put that thang down, whoa
WTF SMH
My jewelry is disgusting but let’s discuss the taste I’m in another place
This whole sh*t is in shambles
Low vibrational levels
Riders never get canceled, never
We manifest destiny like a knight
A knight in shining armor, yeah
Tryin’ be there for our kids
No matter how hard that is
Everybody’s so quick to flip
Or say they with the sh*ts
They go against someone look just like them But when the enemy
Has government powers
They become cowards
They cut the tough guy sh*t
When they arrest, when they come cuff your kids They give us criminal records, because of where we live And the money is low, and narcotics are thriving It’s evil, we diagnosed with something that’s untreatable Feel powerless so brothers only have beef with you
So you on your murder sh*t cuz that’s what you see them do Well let me tell you somethin’
Many go on GBG
Get Back Gang
Who gon’ rest in peace?
In this land twenty three million layers
All we have is some givers and some takers
Have some good souls and bad souls
Some humble people, some a**holes
Slow like watchin’ the grass grow
The crosswalk lady walkin’ with the kids to school There’s a place in heaven for her, as is you
And if you don’t believe in that, then SLATT
Go where you going, be where you at, no hugs, speakin’ or dap I wish that we could adapt (my brother)
Pro-Black with a machete, pinky ring, a hog in the back This is not a rap song why you callin’ it that?
This is a audiobook, I’m an author on tracks
I opened so many doors
My launchpad was Main Source
You couldn’t interpret the lesson, we took the same course I grabbed everything and the sh*t that I came for As soon as the DJ played Big Daddy Kane “Raw” Bold, beautiful, dangerous
And I blocked out the hate that was aimed at us I’m free as I ever been
I might hop on a jet to Japan
Just to eat sushi if customs let me in (Don’t they always) WTF SMH I’m on GO
Twenty twenty-three just might open a casino
Community love, providing jobs
Why would you try to come for me, why you ain’t proud of Nas? Akinyele took me in the building first
Peace to MC Serch, how much the catalog worth? I made it so many can have a piece of what I earn Push it to the max, now it’s maximum returns
Bold, beautiful, dangerous
And I blocked out the hate that was aimed at us Community love, providing jobs
Why would you try to come for me, why you ain’t proud of Nas?

✨✍🏾✨👑🎯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔊🗣️💎🗣️💎🐐🎵
Just heard this 😍😍🔥
⚡
🤒
I love that whole verse 👊
"We manifest Destiny (daughter) like a Knight (son), a knight in shining armour." Nas referencing both of his kids during the opening of the beat switch. What a slick way of placing that there, almost didn't catch it.
I caught that right away
And then to mention his(Kids) and the fight to raise them well, giving the TITLE expression of the 2nd part “SMH” equally = to his CAREER, just absolutely Genius.
You peep that huh>>>>Manifest Destiny is s god given right for a certain group to of people to run things.......
This line is seriously elegant NaS family love. This guy is my all time favorite. Lyricists
Nas is just putting a cherry on top of his legendary career. I was 14 when Illmatic came out. Now my 14 yearr old daughter is listening to King’s Disease albums.
Nice! Is she bumpin' _Illmatic_ yet?
Me too
That’s really sweet!
That's amazing! My 3 sons in their late 20s early thirty years and they bang nas! And I thought that was something! That's why he's my goat 🐐 new young ears hearing nas wow!
He's a natural and isn't it something special when your own baby girl love your music tastes, because my 17 year old is the same way
Yeah, Nas definitely won the rap game. Overpowered lyricism, deep street ethic, flawless consciousness, infinite soul, cleansing the culture in a single pen stroke.
Nas the goat fosho
💯
Well said! 🐐
"Community love: providing jobs. Why would you try to come for me? Why you ain't proud of Nas?"🐐
I love this song

That second beat is sick. Nas is the undisputed goat!!!!!
You are seriously delusional homie nas can’t touch Rakim lyrically or flow and Rakim made Nas look stupid on the Nike classic track and nas could never spit follow the leader or lyrics of fury by Rakim
@@vernonjohnson1198 Ra might be the greatest but he hasn't made a good album since 1997. Nas is running laps around right now.
I keep repeating it at the part where the beat changes
"I opened so many doors, my launch pad was main source"🔥Shout out Large Professor.
Nas - instant classic bars.
"You couldn't interpret the lesson we took the same course." #Bars
When he asked Serch how much the catalog is worth..
That's really some mature grown man moving on with no grudges shit!
Poetry in motion.... That second part is beautiful. BOLD, BEAUTIFUL, DANGEROUS... Nas forever 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
“God bless the trap but i want to see you untrapped” - Nas 🔥🔥
Nas is so good it don’t make no damn sense. We NEED this in life
Facts
Nas is like " this is an audio book I'm an author on tracks " 🐐
we appreciate you legend🔥🔥🔥
This lets us know how deprived we were by not seeing Biggie and Tupac mature the way Nas did. Damn.
This one's got the same sublimity to it as "Ugly" does.
Magical.

Nas will forever be the GOAT.
That beat switch-up is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
NAS letting everybody know no matter how many newcomers you got coming up, you ain’t taking the mic away from him
Faaaaaaaaacts 😎🙌
Nas been doing it since the newcomers fathers were kids themselves legend for decades.
bro wtf
shit got tears in my eyes

Facts
It's been a great year - maybe the best in the last 20 years or so! Not mad at anyone picking this for AOTY 🥰 Nas, Black Thought, billy woods (both albums!), Kendrick, JID, Pusha-T, Rome Streetz, Westside Gunn, Conway, Benny, Joey Bada$$, Boldy James, Elucid, Meyhem Lauren, Mach & Fahim, YOD... and on and on (and on! lol) 🔥🔥🔥 _Incredible!_
I try telling my fellow older heads, who grew up with the classics like I did: *HipHop is in a beautiful place!*

21 Savage is wildin', he doesn't even deserve a response from Nas. Nas = 🐐
From a person who has every Nas album, starting from illmatic, I’ve seen the growth and holy shit, how the fuck is this man still the GOAT?! NYC stand up 💯
What do you think of I Am? I think it's the most underrated album in Hip Hop history
@@cartierjoe it's good, but not even remotely close to being the most underrated anything

That was slick Nas
Club Rap died in the pandemic so only the lyricist thrived. There was no party to put up a front for so you fell off if you wasn't a lyricist which is why Nas is killing right now.
Why would you try to come for me why you ain’t proud of Nas 🤲🏿
Mann..let's give Nas his flowers while he's still here 🔥🔥🔥
My Mount Rushmore of MC's
1A: Rakim, KRS-One, Big Daddy Kane, Nas.
1B: Biggie, LL Cool J, Big Pun, Kool G Rap.
This man predicted 21 Savage was going to diss him. "Why would you try to come for me why you ain't proud of Nas?" They don't call him Nastradamus for nothing. Nas might be getting his second Grammy award come February . The whole album is FIRE!!!
I've been uttering the words: "BOLD....BEAUTIFUL....DANGEROUS" randomly during the past coupla months.
"Peace to MC Serch, How much the Catalog worth?"
Dayum! Man's on FIRE in every respectable sense!!!
If they let Nas open one of these awards shows with this joint right here, Ima go bananas!
11/11/23 🎉Happy one year Anniversary to the best rap album of the year🎉 Nasir Jones the best ever🫡 Hitboy one of the best producers ever🙌🏼
If nas isn't your favorite rapper there's a problem.
Huge problem
I can't stand his ass
And I blocked out the hate that was aimed at us. This album is beyond amazing, he clearly is undoubtedly the greatest. I keep playing that 2nd half of this song on repeat, it's so good.
I do the same bro. That second part damn, it’s a spiritual healing indeed.
Omg! Did Nas and Hitboy put crack in the 2nd part of this song?! Soooooo addicting! ❤️💯🔥🔥🔥
Lol
Truth🔥🔥🔥
Factzzzzz 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
While rappers like Jay Z still talking about hustling and bragging about everything, including helping Meek Mill get free, seemed like a smack in the face, Nas is acting his age and his substance has matured throughout his career as it should. Quite simply,
Nas is the Goat 🐐 and it's not even close 👑
Jay z could NEVER come with no shit like this. He can’t even fathom this level of hiphop
@@KCGainz Jay z will just wait 10 years then drop a serious of albums trying to copy Nas like he did with Story of OJ, go listen to Nas These are our Heroes and you will see Jay is just a copycat but as you said, he can never get to Nas level of depth or wordplay or anything else
The fact that y’all are discussing jay z in a comment that should be nas should say everything you need to know. HE IS THE BAR..y’all downplaying jay to big up nas which is just sad because nas is nas and he is legend
@@jasontoussaint1081 well nas is the bar now! Not hov. His heart is just not into it anymore. Nas is a rapper, jay is a hustler and its time we respect that. Nas was supposed to be king of hiphop. Jay is the king of hustlers.therefore… nas is the better Rapper/Hiphop Artist!
i totally agree NAS is the goat
Legit had this song on repeat all day since I first heard it. I think this is the best song on the album. Nas went hard on the first part of the track, but when the beat changed and his lyrics get deep…. Is just INSANE. Nas is the greatest rapper of all time and has been able to stay true to himself, his BLACKNESS, his gangster roots, the changing “culture”, and most of all Hip Hop.
Now This Is Pure Magic #Masterpiece
Hard as fuck, I agree with you on this one…repeat all day
This aint Rap, this is Audio Book! Salute my man!

Jay Z is cool but Nas is the man & will forever be

I relate to what Nas’ is saying in this track. You see dudes acting hard and yet they ain’t gangster enough to step to the government 🤦🏻♂️
Love the conscious flows by Nas. What sets him apart and has given him longevity, is that he stuck to one of the pillars of great HipHop. That's telling the cautionary tales of the hood, versus going all the way in on the demise of our community. This is what black culture needs right now 🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯

✳️💯✳️☝🏾💚🌎💚🐐
I used to resist it, I had Reasonable Doubt in '96, I been invested in Hov's journey from the start. But these 4 albums with Hit after almost 30 years??? Nas is the one, and the 2nd half of this track is simply beautiful art.
All love and respect to Hov but Nas on another dimension
I'm Brooklyn born and raised, but I knew from day one that Nas would always reign supreme...AZ would put Hov in a body bag but you gotta play the game in order to go where you want to
I loved reasonable doubt as well. From illmatic I knew Nas was THE ONE
Are you crazy?..az can’t mess with hov on no level..listen to reasonable doubt , vol. 1 ..az has nothing in his catalogue that Can top that and I didn’t even mention the blueprint or American gangster and black album
@@jasontoussaint1081 Jason please dont embarrassed yourself
This one hits different. The beat switch and lyrical content should be taught and dissected in the Ivy towers of academia for years on end.
Just finished the album currently driving from Tennessee to Michigan. I'm going to play the album again. 💯 absolutely beautiful piece of art and I'm grateful one of my favorite artists is only getting better with time and spreading love and knowledge to those listening. Guaranteed grammy for album of the year.
Its like he is trying to bring hip hop back to life and only someone like Nas could do that. After all when he said it was dead we all felt that way.
