⚠ NEW VIDEO: CEO Responds to Backlash, Pilestedt Gives his thoughts and More th-cam.com/video/yJAywXatVVU/w-d-xo.html ⚠ Overall Thoughts: I understand both sides of the situation. I'm not a big fan of the prices either, considering a lot of people work 9 to 5 jobs; from my understanding, the price is mainly due to the crossover, which is why it's expensive.
Still a bad precedent. We already let stratagems in warbonds and a secondary in the super store fly, now ALL weapon slots can be expected to be super store items? And let's talk about the timing. Sony intentionally waited for everyone to spend their HARD EARNED super creds on the Urban Legends warbond and it's superstore gear to try and strongarm players into having to spend money on supercreds if they wanted to get gear from this collab, and right before the holidays? The content itself is defendable, but the monetization is absolutely ghoulish and is actively preying on FOMO in ways that I expect Blizzard or Nexon games to handle it.
@@kaijuultimax9407 I don't disagree that the prices are steep. I believe it's all due to the crossover. They're also experimenting with the Shop items and warbonds as of right now. If we're all feeling a bit unpleasant about it, the best way is to let them know through surveys and feedback forms. I'm sure Arrowhead will adjust it based off the community reaction honestly.
''just farm them in game. '' sorry but 600 + for a weapon and with a armor more than 1500+ is absurd even with farming in game + the farm of Super credit is so bad, if we had more fun or engaging way to get them would be way better.
You can always go play a triple A game, I hear overwatch has piles of $20-40 dollar skins that do nothing for you....I love people, they want more content...but only free! We don't want them to make money! Oh and then you probably skip the dishes for McDonald's....
@@adrianr2746the problem isnt that, its that you get Just an armor and a mediocre gun for the money that is the same as 2 warbonds which in the Last ones add 2 armors and early ones add 3,and they add the best Guns in the game, tell me, would i get a mid assault rifle, or the New warbond with the melee weapon and some of the best strategems, Only the mask for 310 sc's are worth it(and the title)
This has Sony finger prints all over it Arrowhead if i remember correctly said that they wouldn’t be doing a collab for awhile Update/clarification Im more focused on the price of the superstore for the player than the actual collab Update update it was clarified that it was indeed arrowhead decision I expected this from Sony but not arrowhead
@ yes but from my understanding I thought it would be something later in late Q1 considering they were fixing the game and they just resumed their regular schedule (that’s why I stated if I remember correctly)
@@Kaleidoscope007 He never specified when and I will agree there was no advertisement but this was their first collab It was easy to make since Killzone is owned by Guerilla (Devz who made Horizon Zero Dawn) so it was easy to contact them
He didn't say he wouldn't collab. He said he wouldn't collab with anything that wouldn't make sense for Helldivers. Basically, he said if it doesn't turn HD into another fortnite, then he wouldn't see a problem with it. Killzone, as we can see, fits very well into HD.
What Concord tax? Oh that's right imbeciles still want to push the "400-800 million" when they didn't actually pay to make any of the game...Protip; Concord was started in 2916 and, finished in 2022. Firewalk was looking for a publisher when Sony acquired them in mid/late 2023. It is hilarious though when imbeciles think they need to spend real money to get things, because it might require running a few lvl 1 missions to grind super credits.. I literally never have less than 10,000 super credits because im capable of playing lower level missions to grind super credits from time to time
I think not having it as a warbond is the real issue. the price is to be expected since its a collab and they got make money for a live service game somehow
My problem is that the prices are higher. If Helldivers are one thing they are stupid. If enough idiots buy it, Sony might start raising Super Store prices.
You sir have a good head on your shoulder, people waste money order delivery from McDonald's which isn't even worth the money if you walk in..and helldivers still isn't like triple A gaming with their 20-40 dollar skins for everything from characters to skins...and god even ammo skins...
You don’t fight back with something small. You fight back when they cross a line, we should be aiming to provide a win win scenario, where the devs can make enough money to support the game and the players don’t feel cheated out of their wallets
So we're back to bullying the devs and review bomb the game again huh? Please grow up. They didn't point a gun to your head and say spend money for the collab. It's earnable currency
Meanwhile League of Legends players are laughing… cosmetic stuff cost money, get over it. I would complain if you could buy things wich make you in fact better in a game. But this isnt the case, stop crying.
Remember when a warbond had x3 primary weapons x3 armour sets a booster a grenade a secondary weapon and more for only 1000 credits???? I think the arrowhead team need to go back to their humble beginnings with prices. Does anyone else agree? 615 for light armour pen regardless of farming super credit potential is a bit steep
Probably due to license stuff and extra hours to make and integrate all of this. Its pricey? yes, do you need them no matter what or are you going to loose the fun if you don't have it this week? no at all, so chill. Keep enjoying the game if you still are with the things we already have, these are only skins and a weapon that doesn't really break the game or something thats needed to have.
@@Arc69 The game isn’t exactly free, you have to pay $40 to play it, and 615 credits for one gun and another 500 for the armor not including the helmet and cape is a little ridiculous considering that a full warbond which contains more content is less than those two things. So the complaints about the steep price of the new items is completely valid.
@@Arc69 this game was the most popular when it came out with millions of sales. Im not worried about them eating. They even felt comfortable enough to go on a mass vacation on the release date of Escalation of Freedom. Remember that?
Honestly I feel that the rifle is the most egregious thing it's almost identical stat wise to the liberator carbine, but it cost more than half of the viper commando war bond where you get the carbine on the first page
Sony just had the game of the year and multiplayer game of the year. Do you really think they're struggling for cash? I play PC but this is a crazy take lol
@@Shzzaam It makes sense. Despite winning GOTY, Astro Bot was something that Sony didn't give a fuck about and was surprised it popped off. Most of Sony's exclusives are walking simulators, movie dropout games, or literal garbage. Sony has been fumbling so much that GOTY is like the one escape they have
Your literally just making shit up, they had 2 nomines for goty, they nearly always have a goty contender, not even just a nominee. Youre just blindly hating @redline841
It natural that the prices would be higher for collab items, so I don't think this is a precursor to them raising prices on regular game items. Moreover none of these new items are really all that good, the gun is useful in so few situations I don't think I'd ever choose to use it if I had it, and the armor passive is really only going to be helpful if your team has flame, gas, and arc weapons. You will almost always be better off using armor with other passives. Personally I don't even think the armor looks that good aesthetically. I think most people won't be willing to buy useless cosmetics at that high of a price so AH and Sony will figure out on their own that this isn't the way to go.
Unpopular opinion time. None of you deserve your own cape. People forget what the creek was at the time. Reinforcements were twice what our intelligence said. Not sure what was happening on the manufacturing end, but only a few of our weapons worked the way they should have... and we were green. The creek couldn't be recreated today, even if we wanted to.
2:00 its almost double the price of a warbond just for the FIRST PAGE so its going to be like 4-5 warbonds worth of super creds , thats really not a small amount at all . and warbonds have lot more items than this . its ridiculously overpriced
People say it's almost as much as two warbonds but in reality it's almost as much as three warbonds given most warbonds have 300SC in them, so you spend 1000 but get 300 back. They seriously made it cost almost 3 warbonds to get just reskins. I'll just assume sony meddling as ever.
You do know Sony doesn't have to "meddle" right? Sony owns Helldivers and they own Killzone, it also costs ZERO dollars to unlock all of that stuff, just by simply having the brain power to figure out lvl 1 missions give out crap tons of super credits and actually grinding them from time to time. Instead of those loser cancer meta trash kids who think you need to lvl 10, 10, 10 all the time. You aren't "meddling" when you can purchase something without spending any actual money
@@lutherheggs451 When fanboy is triggered... Does not even understand the issue. Does not even understand why it's an issue. Does not even understand the root cause of why people are complaining.
Honestly what they need to do is get rid of the current superstore model by not using timers and just have all of the superstore items catalogued in their specific sections in the store whether it be armor, weapons, capes and other miscellaneous items. They need to get rid of timers and make it so we can buy any item we want from the superstore at any moment. And when they add a new item they can just have it displayed in the front of the superstore for a week so people know it's there but then keep it in the catalog where people can buy it any day they want similar to war bonds. This way there is no FOMO and the player base can be more agreeable to having these items in the superstore because they can just grind at their leisure and buy them whenever they feel like it. Effectively turning the superstore into just one massive war bond.
@ kinda missing the point there bud… Spending a couple hours of my life to unlock a warbond is sensible enough for me. But an entire fucking warbond worth of credits for a cape and gun? You can choose to stay on your knees thinking these prices are fair but I won’t. That “Free” excuse only carries so much weight
i think people are forgetting that all of these items cost almost twice as much as a warbond for maybe a 3rd of the items a warbond would give. doesnt matter if you can grind super credits or not, the intent is clearly for players to buy super credits to get all the items they want
You can actually make quite a few super credits on a trivial mission. clear the POI's and do not finish the mission. just return to ship and launch another trivial. with 2- 3 players you can very quickly make 200-300 sc. I just don't like the answer to overly high prices being "just farm it out" If farming is the answer, then you want to have access to the fun upgrades of the game you have to play the game in a not fun way.
@@dzangordenakha3995like the guy said, if you can sacrifice an hour, go to Mastia, very flat and clear skies, hit every poi, don’t extract, bring or find a buddy for bunks. I was able to get 400 in about 90min
Not a huge fan of the recent shift to selling weapons in the superstore, one for 200SC and one for 610SC. These are pricey enough that for a freemaxxer this really sets back your warbond credit grind. It's also a ton of credits for what would otherwise amount to a single item in a 1,000SC warbond.

0-50 super credits per level 3 mission, at the least would require nearly 40 missions. If all you're doing is farming the super credits alone, that's hours and hours of work for a single weapon and armor set. If you're with friends, that may cut down the time, but who can convince their friends to ONLY look for super credits every mission and not actually play the game they're playing? Lets not even think about the fact that most missions, I personally only get about 10 or maybe 20 super credits. I'm not doing 100+ missions to farm 2k super credits for one half assed weapon and an armor set. I'd much rather use that 2k to get 2 warbonds just chock full of weapons, armors, strategems and skins.
I'm not a fan of these store prices, but farming is actually super chill. You do level 1 maps and you don't even have to extract. You'll get around 20-50 a run which takes about 5 minutes with more than one person.
@ have you ever thought about not commenting or being a pH ag? if people don’t complain it’s only going to get worse. I don’t want this game to become Fortnite where we’re paying $20 for an outfit or a weapon. The last thing I want is for this good game to become pay to win.

It does seem a bit unbalance right ? It’s a small set of gear that if you wanted the whole set would cost about 2 warbonds worth of SC. True you could grind it out in game or cave and buy it but it does seem overpriced in my opinion. I had enough super credits for the rifle so I snagged it and it honestly was kind of disappointing, I took it out on a lvl 5 mission against the squids, within a couple of minutes I was missing my eruptor rifle.
I personally couldn’t care less about the things like armor and titles (especially the armor because it’s likely we’ll get new armor with the same passive in a future warbond), what I do dislike is the weapons being in the item shop. Not because the prices are a bit inflated, but because it time-gates unlockable content that I believe is more important than the other items being sold. I would hope this store rework adds a special section that allows for weapons to be purchased at any time.
I think he’s more so arguing about the people screaming p2w at the sky and shaking their fist. The armor seems really good sure but it’s not like you can’t beat a difficulty 10 no problem without it. And it doesn’t offer anything really that armor we’ve had before does. More ease of use as it has all elements instead of just one.
I think it was a good way to introduce a collaboration. Yes its a $20 pick up in the super store. Or you can grind in game. I just wish we had a option for a sight on the AR
For everyone saying "just grind the super credits bro!" You need to get 1900 or so super credits to get everything here. For those of you who aren't so great at math, that's around 200 missions with how little super credits you get from each mission, assuming you get 10 from each. Some of us have lives and do not have the time or desire to grind that many missions. It's either 200 missions or 20 bucks to get all the crossover items. That's bullshit, and you cannot convince me otherwise. I can tolerate war bonds being 10 bucks because you can unlock them at any time and get several items within them for free. It's not a limited-time deal that's 5-10 dollars per item.
I don't particularly feel like blowing 20 bucks on some virtual items that aren't even that good at what they're supposed to do @@fuzzy3383. I can afford it just fine, I just have no desire to make that purchase. It isn't worth it. How you can't see how Arrowhead/Sonys microtransactions are getting worse and worse is mind boggling to me.

This is a shift in stratagy tho. Right after every bought the warbond they do this. This is clearly trying to promote more microtransactions. Its not that horrific right now but it is a departure from their path. They are going down a very unloved road right now.
Can't forget the FOMO to make sure that the people that just bought the war bond now being out likely can't farm all the super credits needed because of the sheer needed time to farm out the super credits ensuring that the f2p players don't have any loose super credits so they are forced to buy or miss out. In otherwords, objective "FOMO" (Fear of missing me out)

Time and time again has AH taken the moral high ground on FOMO in microtransactions just to jack up the prices of everything and hit us all with FOMO for the first crossover? I’m not going to stop playing and I’m not going to boycott or anything but I don’t think we should be here just thanking AH for spitting in our faces after they’ve acted all high and mighty compared to other companies using these marketing practices.

Definitely not pay to win since I got all warbonds without paying a single penny besides the super citizen pack, never bought super credits from the store. Now I can understand if some have busy work schedules, like working at an airport or factories that make you stay throughout most the day and you get only a few hours of playtime when you get home. People forget this fact but hey I’m for supporting the game and devs if they are putting out good work. To each their own, but again you don’t need it.
@@adamallen7070 I agree. Its optional, hence why I say the best way to protest it is to not buy it. If you are not opposed, then do it. Both your statement and mine can be true. They truly deserve it unlike most, if not all, popular games nowadays, but I do agree that this is a slippery slope and that, without turning our backs on AH, we can help them and even protect them, and the game, from external "threats" and pressures from Big Bullies like Sony. 🫡
protest? brother you can get this just by playing the game. Nothing in the game is pay to win considering you get premium currency through playing. Maybe p2gf. As in pay to get faster. XD
pay to win isnt the issue its the price. Almost $20 in super credits typically gives us up to 6 outfits plus weapons. I dont care if it is earnable in game they know that by putting it out at this price that people will end up buying credits to catch up. Just keep it consistent and make it make sense.
“ I don’t care if it is earnable in game “ LOL did you even watch your word. The fact that they made it farmable makes the the game a huge difference from MANY other games and you should be thankful for that not don’t care for it. And you have a choice to buy it or not, It won’t affect the game much lol unless you want to support the team to make more content or else just don’t buy it or farm for it.
Just go Grind for it and quit complaining! It’s not that hard in a day you can have all of this from 75 credits this morning I’m already half way done getting the entire superstore now sure I’m off work today but even if I was in 2 hours I could easily get the 610 credits for the weapon and rinse and repeat everyday since now superstore will be longer and give you more time to grind for the stuff you want
You’re nuts if you think Arrowhead is faultless for telling us to “just grind” 2000 super credits in 5 days. No working person has the time to do that and they know it. It’s an excuse to make a system that digs back into our wallets
look I hate this shit as much as you do, but the super credit grind isn't TOO bad if you speed clear a buncha diff 1 illuminate missions as I've found they generally have the better loot spawns, at least in my experience, even though it won't change the absolutely assblastingly retarded pricing and the fact they shoved what should have been a fucking warbond in the superstore, but at least you can usually get about 20-30 super creds every mission.
Please don't ignore that Helldivers 2 is NOT a FREE TO PLAY game. These prices are NOT ok. AH needs to paddle back and release this as the Warbond it was supposed to be!
It's not free to play but it is live service. The alternative is release the game with no post launch additions. The team would then move onto the next game
Just go grind the the super-credits it’s not that hard people saying this are usually the people paying to win on call of duty and unlike call of duty here you can actually earn the credits instead of ONLY having to buy them

no money made from the collab. no more collabs is it that big of a deal if luxury items made from a collab (in which both companies try to get money) are priced more than usual? Besides, sure, its overpriced, but not that big of a deal... you can get a warbond's worth of SC in a couple hours, and you probably already have a couple hundreds SC from other completed warbonds. If you really dont have time or money for this, it will come back, its in rotation! surely you will have saved up some currecny between the cycles...
6:05 if I remember correctly killzone has bigger assault rifles so maybe we will see some more variants that do have medium and possibly heavy armor pen.
dog this game is 40$ you cant be putting a 6$ gun in a rotating fortnite store. That "grind to earn" argument goes away when it takes TIME to get sc from games, and you put items on a timer and we dont know when they'll be back. How do i grind 600sc in 4 days if i just bought the warbond? i have a job but i dont want to support this because while 6$ isnt much, if this is supported it will be so expensive to have a full arsenal in 2 months. they cut 30$ off the AAA pricetag and go "thats close enough to free to play, we can do rotating stores"
Lmao why am I gonna waste my time nonstop grinding for 2 days straight for an armor set and a mediocre AR, when I can spend time with my family and friends or play a better game These "just grind stupid" or "you don't need to buy it it's free" mfs should seriously go outside and do something else
in my opinion, that should have been a "Super Warbond", creating another category of warbonds dedicated to crossovers only. Make it cost more, like 2/3k super credits, so that it sounds more reasonable to spend that amount of super credits on a warbond more then on a single item in the shop. Furthermore, having it as a warbond would give more time for farming super credits to all players, who wouldn't have to wait for the next shop cycle before actually getting the items
If we want this game to continue for years to come and get regular new content then it has to be profitable for arrowhead. If you don’t want to buy it then just grind for it
Im calling it now: if this collabs succeeds(seems like it bc most of you are NPCs apparently) then we will get shittier and possibly less WBs and the good shit will be in the SS for prices like this
Yep, a lot of ppl missing the bigger picture - this is how they are gonna keep revenue up when thing's plateau and they can't do Xbox crossplay (which would be the smarter solution)
People defend anything nowadays, at this point they're bots programmed to blindly believe anything and repeat the same two lines and thing they actually have a point.
Dud, it's literally optional it's not P2W, is it convenient maybe, but if it upsets you this badly don't buy it. not like they were begging for your money anyway its a crossover set of course it's gonna be more overpriced than base game items. It's been that way since crossovers have been a thing, do i think it should be a warbond instead of shop items, yea but I'm not gonna bitch and moan over something that in the long run is not going to ruin my overall enjoyment. It's one thing if it's were an overpowered weapon and armor but its not, it's from all reports pretty mid as far as armor and weapons go, we shouldnt shame people for buying something they like. It dosent hurt you in the long run not like you were gonna buy it any way; everyone I've seen here has been going on like it's the end of the world and how it's P2W and it's ruining the game, but it's not it's completely optional dont like don't buy it you're not gonna suffer for not buying it, not like its gonna be the next meta build that's a must have for high difficulties.
1:29 Strange to hear you have that viewpoint. It IS bad, really bad. Having weapons for super credits in a rotating store? And later you even justify it by saying you can farm super credits easily... You get like 200 sc max per hour when doing the most efficient farm, which is poi-hunting on difficulty 1. That is 10!!!!! effing hours of the most boring, braindead and exhausting farming. Come on now.
They literally just announced they're working on reworking the store lol. Also idk how ur getting such low amounts of sc from grinding. I made 3k very quickly
@@Dargonauts I guess you are relatively new to Helldivers, so let me elaborate: I'm not, no. I specifically made a statement about the store pricing. I think it is pretty obvious. I unlocked everything there is in HD 2 long ago and I'm not interested in playing anymore. And the ridiculous pricing in the store, which has increased every so slightly for months now, is a big reason for that. I'm just complaining about having to grind low level missions for 10 hours to even afford one Warbond or a complete store set. If you are having fun, more power to you. I had fun myself for a bit before and after the "nerfageddon". Don't just assume things.
@@garful Arrowhead told a lot of fairytales in the past, so better don't count on that. I highly doubt that you made 3k SCs very quickly. "Very quickly" is a pretty loose term though, so maybe you think 1-2 weeks of non-stop playing is very quickly. Some people have jobs and families though and can't play all day. Arrowhead reduced the amounts of SCs in missions for a reason: They want and need to make money from people buying them. People wouldn't buy them, if they could grind 3k "very quickly".
Coulda swore earlier this year they said something along the lines of not wanting to do crossovers because they didn't want to dilute the helldivers IP but hey as long as we're getting them anyway, how long before space marines 2/deep rock galactic crossover?
whats really bad is you defending the stuff with killzone, that is just wild, that pricing and way of distributing fomo stuff is so dangerous and disgusting, whole thing should have been a bundle for half the price at the least ... also the fact that half of the stuff they prepared is already twice as expensive as a warbond and they dont even tell you what the other stuff will be means people will spend all their credits on armors and weapon that they maybe dont want as much and then need to spend money or keep grinding heavily to afford the next part of it, corporate greed scum behaviour at its finest
Another issue i dont see anyone talking about is the release window of this crossover. The squids show up drawing big player numbers just in time for a new warbond with 2 HIGHLY requested stratagems and the HIGHLY requested melee weapons so most players either bought or used saved up SC already. Releasing this collaboration knowing a good chunk of your player base is tapped out on premium currency is equally as predatory as the prices themselves.
something alot of people overlook is the fact that the real problem is what is coming next. if they get away with this what stopping them from raising the price of warbonds and making more overpriced and FOMO items. we have seen this happen many times in gaming and I would hat this game to become anti consumer like overwatch, fortnite etc. there was NO reason for this not to be a warbond. i love this game and arrowhead I have almost 600 hours and have bought the game on PC and ps5 but I would hate to have this gem of a game be ruined.
@@mtt3000 i agree that cross overs should be more expensive. but this is outrageous. 20 dollars for a basic weapon and armor set? and like I said in the post. this was supposed to be a warbond which costs 10$. this one costs 20$ and there's a second part which likely cost the same. maybe even more so that 40$ for something we could've gotten for 10$.

Yea but its also likely the same people who own every warbond too and that's 10 bucks per warbond there's about let's say 8 give or take one or two that's 80 bucks but okay let's go off the argument of well you get 300 back well even then you get just enough to get 2 free warbonds but it still costs you 60 bucks and the war bonds thus far have had weapons that are close to meta or just ok armor sets that are meta a couple of stragems that are OK but then they call the crossover stuff P2W and overpriced which yea it's expensive roughly the price of 2 war bonds for half the content but its a crossover they could easily say if you miss out on its rotation it's gone never coming back but its not its gonna rotate and from all reports tge armor and weapon are pretty mid overall not bad but not great either but yet we demonize the crossover optional content that's not gonna impact gameplay regardless of if you own it or not
The new rifle feels awesome. It's the closest we have to a primary LMG as it's basically a budget Stalwart. It's a shame that they scrapped the Righteous Revenants Warbond and put all the items in the shop at insane prices, especially when the new armor set passive and the new weapon are actually good
Helldivers is not just a live server game, but it is a BUSINESS. People should feel happy about Arrowhead giving us a way to grind super credits and relatively easy too in the first place.
With all due respect I do think that its overpriced and that ur opinion on it is uh controversial. I mean yeah u can grind for the new set but thats not why I play this game, if I wanted to grind or spend money I would have booted up war thunder. I play this game because its genuinly fun I DO NOT PLAY FOR THE GRIND! but now they force me to do it to get a new set.
The prices are utterly insane. Also, I really don't like how this was done. This opens the game up to Call of Duty style insanity in the form of random characters from other games running around BREAKING IMMERSION! This should be a Killzone themed HELLDIVERS set of items that SHOULD BE A WARBOND!
The prices are absolutely not ok. 1900sc for a cape, nametag, cc, weapon, cape and armor set? No thanks. License isn’t an argument bc Sony owns both franchises+Killzone is a dead ip and new weapons are also not ok in the sc, especially for that price. And no the fact that we get "free" updates is also not an argument bc the game was advertised as a live service game and those always include free content updates, simple. "But they have to pay for servers🤓" they already make enough money to do that+they are Sony, use your brain Supporting this means that we will get stuff like that more often from now on, probably even more weapons that come into the SS for outrageous prices instead of a WB. HD2 isn’t the first game that uses this tactic and yall still fall for it every time. Throw a frog in boiling water and he will jump out, raise the temperature slowly and he will stay in place. Same thing here. Don’t support shady tactics from multimillion dollar companies
@@fuzzy3383Grateful for what? We had to pay 40 dollars to even play the game, plus PS+ to even play and now they want 20+ dollars for a single warband page. Glaze harder.
Not really, It's still Playstation we are talking about, 100% they told them to make a certain amount, or increase the prices. On top of that, Nearly every modern game does this. Simply vote with your wallet.
I wish Sony would let AH do Xbox crossplay, make tons and not have to lean into microtransactions. No Man's Sky did this, all new features are completely free
Tenderizer has been my go too as of recent. Along with the triple barrel shotgun sidearm, and incendiary impacts. Pair it with the Napalm and Laser Orbital, an eagle strike or two instead of the laser, and a guard dog you're set
It’s literally worse than any other elemental armour, and no enemy currently uses multiple elements anyway. It’s *convenient* but it might be the outright weakest passive from a pure meta standpoint unless your team loves indiscriminate elemental attacks (which they might, I ain’t judging)
The patch didn't seem to fix the connectivity issue on my end. Either it's my internet (thanks summer) or the server but i assume it's the later since it's working for other enemy fronts not the Illuminate
It’s the first time and it’s a crossover maybe they have to pay some royalties to killzone makers it’s only like 20$ or even grinding and it’s 4-5 days on the store people cry about the smallest thing then wanna cancel a game for a skin really come on guys think
Ironic that you tell people to think while saying that AH needs to pay for the crossover to killzone makers..... my brother in christ, both killzone and helldivers are owned by sony xD. And Killzone has been dead for over 11 years as an ip. Plus, 600 for a re-skinned liberator its crazy 💀 Personally , im not worried about the prices so much, i have free time so i can grind a little (while there's people studying/working that cant play hours farming just for one set of armor xD), the thing that rrally worries me is the weapons in the superstore. Some weeks ago this wasnt a thing, but then with the new warbond they dropped a weapon in the sotre and strats to fill the warbond. Lets just buy the new super store guns and wait for AH to start putting stratagems in it 💀
@ yea I agree on that weapons on the buy page is crazy like last week I had to purchase a melee weapon from there instead of the warbond but honestly I didn’t know cause I don’t know that much about hellzone that’s why I said maybe they had to pay idk we don’t know what kind of shenanigans they up to over there
I frequently rotate my primaries for the sake of battling complacency but I cannot stop using the Blitzer. Works so well against the bugs and the squids. The staggering effect on multiple enemies at once buys me so much time especially being surrounded or in a pinch. Combined with the Rover it just cooks. Not to mention that it doesn’t require ammo and has a decent rpm.
I don’t understand how people are calling the new AR “pay to win” when the AR is objectively mid. If it was on the same level as the purifier and they put it in the superstore I would be upset but it isn’t that good. If anything this rifle seems like pay to lose since for 400 credits more you can get a better AR, with the tenderizer, along with the best weapon in the game later in that same warbond
I think its mostly people being upsetti spaghetti because they have to pay more than 10 bucks for the calab. To which I can tell people to get over it, we've gotten 2 dlc expansions for free and my moneys worth in the game since February . If the devs want more money for the calab due to royalties then I say its okay
It's a live service game, and it's a THEMATIC gear, so the pricing is ok-ish, plus it will be added into rotation and we can loot SC from regular runs.
Just bought mine with my super credits from playing, but I have more time in the game then most. I understand why people are upset, but at the end of the day if they want AH to keep putting out new content then there gonna have to make money somewhere.
dont buy in, this was meant to be a warbond but repositioned as a change to premium store because sony needs $$$. arrowhead will not see any of this money
I am more annoyed at myself for dropping all my credits on the last store rotation, was not expecting an even larger store page of stuff right after a new warbond page.
The game sold over 12 million copies and has the backing of one of the largest technology and electronics companies in the world and routinely releases warbonds that allow people to skip the grind and use integrated microtransactions to purchase the content, trust me, they have plenty of money to develop this game for many many years. Charging 3-4x for items that should have been in a warbond is absolutely scummy, especially when there has been evidence to show it was originally planned to be a warbond and Sony likely strong-armed them into scalping the items for a larger profit margin instead.
If we're being realistic they give us DLC that most games would charge you 40 bucks for the in-game currency can be grinded out all you have to do is give a little time to the game the prices are different because it's a crossover we all know the regular items don't cost as much I don't see any problem here at this point I'm convinced some people in the community just try to find anything to complain about you don't have to buy anything if you don't want to and you're not missing out on anything if you don't
And those games we don't buy because aggressive monetization is literally ruining the games industry. At least you shouldn't. For someone with a lot of time, you might be able to grind out all the money for everything. It's poor game design to force players to do mind numbing tasks to avoid spending money. Don't support aggressive monetization so we don't get healthcare 2.0
I get that people are not happy about the price, but i also get that they likely are paying royalty to the company that owns killzone. I doubt killzone is letting them use their IP for free, so they probably have to give them a cut of the profit made from the set. i agree the prices are too high but i also understand why they are that way
@AgentKenshin your silly that's not how it works especially because sony dosent own arrowhead they are still a private company so yes they are still paying royalties to sony to use thier content sony isn't just gonna let any company they work with use another IP as a cross over they still have to negotiate terms and pricing of the content
Logically, the killzone stuff is an unexpected surprise that doesn't diminish or effect from the new patch content either way. Emotionally, there's a new primary weapon on the super store that costs almost 3/4ths of an entire warbond. It doesn't matter that it's just another liberator variant without any armor penetration. It doesn't matter that it's a one-off cross-over promotional.
The old method of using the same map to farm the same super credits no longer works, but you can always just load a new map after draining the one you're currently on. Tested this a while ago with a friend who needed super credits.
I'm really glad to see an armor that covers all elemental damage. For completing, I received a charge up sniper rifle that reminds me of the charge up pistol.. I don't like it yet, but I haven't tested it out fully.
they have announced the second killzone set that was supposed to be in the shop will now be gifted for free as a christmas gift and the first one was extended by 5 days
Suggested Loadout: Arc Blitzer shotgun(crowd control) Stun lance(take out their legs and finish them off while stunning the overseers). Strategem Loadout: Orbital laser(for warpships), 500kg eagle strike(also for warpships as well as crowd control). Minigun turret or flame thrower turret(defensive crowd control) and Anti-tank emplacement(for Harvesters and incoming dropships). I'd say impact grenades or thermite for throwables but I personally use throwing knives. I use savior of the free or other armor that has the 50% chance of saving your life.
if you want a loadout recommendation for the Illuminate, here's what I usually run Plas-1 Scorcher primary, P-4 Senator, High Explosive grenade, and any armor with the Siege Ready passive. if you want stratagems as well, I use the Patriot Exosuit, Orbital Napalm Barrage, Orbital Precision Strike, and the LAS-98 Laser Cannon. I haven't had much free time to test what's good against the Illuminate, but so far this is what's kept me alive the best on my handful of missions against them.
my loadout for illuminate: Arc blitzer, grenade pistol, impact grenades, the armor with the passive for better handling from viper commando. For strategems, HMG, guard dog with the AR, and the other two are whatever you want, HMG emplacement is fun sometimes, or one of the mechs. I mostly use the blitzer to kill voteless and overseer, I use the HMG for the harvesters or the shielded ships then follow up with grenade gun to explode it.

Overall Thoughts: I understand both sides of the situation.

He didn't say he wouldn't collab. He said he wouldn't collab with anything that wouldn't make sense for Helldivers. Basically, he said if it doesn't turn HD into another fortnite, then he wouldn't see a problem with it. Killzone, as we can see, fits very well into HD.

I literally never have less than 10,000 super credits because im capable of playing lower level missions to grind super credits from time to time

I think not having it as a warbond is the real issue. the price is to be expected since its a collab and they got make money for a live service game somehow
If it were a slightly more expensive warbond it would be fine but this is a 2000 sc for less content than a warbond
Yes, from the $40 it costs to get the game in the first place
40 usd is cheap and u can gri d it all for free anyway. Its still a good model

You are afraid of arrowhead making money? What???? You kids think so weirdly.
You don’t fight back with something small.
You fight back when they cross a line, we should be aiming to provide a win win scenario, where the devs can make enough money to support the game and the players don’t feel cheated out of their wallets

@@Arc69 The game isn’t exactly free, you have to pay $40 to play it, and 615 credits for one gun and another 500 for the armor not including the helmet and cape is a little ridiculous considering that a full warbond which contains more content is less than those two things. the last 6-7 months has been one L after another for helldivers why expect it to be different now?

Holy hell. Thats one expensive reskinned liberator. No shot gun, and no scope.

i think people are forgetting that all of these items cost almost twice as much as a warbond for maybe a 3rd of the items a warbond would give. doesnt matter if you can grind super credits or not, the intent is clearly for players to buy super credits to get all the items they want
The whole "you can always farm the super credits" thing would be a solution if you'd get more than 10 per game

If all you're doing is farming the super credits alone, that's hours and hours of work for a single weapon and armor set.
1:58 glitch unlimited forgetting some people are employed 5-6 days a week to make ends meet as usual
So am I still have time to play
Yea all you got to do is call in work for a week and grind all day lol
There is five days tho you can get about 800 credits in an hour by farming
the items are in rotation.surely you can save SC to buy the stuff you want next time they come around...
I think he’s more so arguing about the people screaming p2w at the sky and shaking their fist. The armor seems really good sure but it’s not like you can’t beat a difficulty 10 no problem without it. And it doesn’t offer anything really that armor we’ve had before does. More ease of use as it has all elements instead of just one.
the worst part is that as informed on discord post, this is just the part 1 so it's even more expensive in general for the full cross over items.
I think it was a good way to introduce a collaboration. Yes its a $20 pick up in the super store. Or you can grind in game. I just wish we had a option for a sight on the AR
For everyone saying "just grind the super credits bro!"
You need to get 1900 or so super credits to get everything here.
Bruh omfg then don’t buy? You can’t afford it? So what’s the problem. Go get a job.
And no, other games being way worse does not justify this. Gamers have let their standards slip way too low.
I don't particularly feel like blowing 20 bucks on some virtual items that aren't even that good at what they're supposed to do @@fuzzy3383. I can afford it just fine, I just have no desire to make that purchase. It isn't worth it.

You cant change everything, so that you like it!
just dont buy it. also SC are RNG based so you just have bad luck in game. because for me ill find 110 to 60 sc every mission. shit to get this warbond that just came out took me 6 to 8 hours to grind the sc for it which isnt bad at all. which was maybe 10 to 15 missions at most so i dont know where you get your math that its going to take "200" missions. seems like you might have a few skill issues man.

This is a shift in stratagy tho.
Right after every bought the warbond they do this. This is clearly trying to promote more microtransactions.
Its not that horrific right now but it is a departure from their path. They are going down a very unloved road right now.
We give an inch and they will take a foot - fans defending this change don't see the bigger picture.
Can't forget the FOMO to make sure that the people that just bought the war bond now being out likely can't farm all the super credits needed because of the sheer needed time to farm out the super credits ensuring that the f2p players don't have any loose super credits so they are forced to buy or miss out. In otherwords, objective "FOMO" (Fear of missing me out)
Just make all Assault Rifles have medium armor pen. Don't get why that isn't a thing. Sub machine guns should be light pen.
Yes yes and yes - when I saw this as a leak I was hoping at least med. pen.

I dont think weapons should be in the superstore, having to wait to unlock a certain weapon isnt fun
Love the people saying “tHe StOrE wIlL rOtAtE” as if that’s not the whole reason people are mad.
You do not need to stop playing, just stop spending money. Sadly its not people like you AH needs, but whales.
Its not p2w. You don't need this. Best way to protest is to not buy it and provide feedback on forms and forums. Stay strong Helldivers. We are not excempt from the foul machinations of capitalism. Its on us to tap into the trust AH has given us that they will do what is right and we Will. Be. Free. *Salute*
Definitely not pay to win since I got all warbonds without paying a single penny besides the super citizen pack, never bought super credits from the store. Now I can understand if some have busy work schedules, like working at an airport or factories that make you stay throughout most the day and you get only a few hours of playtime when you get home. But buying super credits isn't that pricy either if you have an honest job as people claim.
People forget this fact but hey I’m for supporting the game and devs if they are putting out good work. To each their own, but again you don’t need it.
The ceo literally said the more it sells the more illuminate stuff they can release for free. ITS ALSO OPTIONAL
@@adamallen7070 I agree. Its optional, hence why I say the best way to protest it is to not buy it. If you are not opposed, then do it. Both your statement and mine can be true. We are on the same team here. I'd gladly give my money to AH.
Shit you can grind for free.. now gfy goober
While it's not p2w, it's heading for the direction we all hate.
These Items are not that great…so why even bother to buy them?
Just dont buy it? You just got a ton of content for free 2 days ago
You can get sc for free soooo
Just go grind the the super-credits it’s not that hard people saying this are usually the people paying to win on call of duty and unlike call of duty here you can actually earn the credits instead of ONLY having to buy them

Let's be honest, the whole collab should be priced around what just the primary costs...
no money made from the collab. no more collabs
is it that big of a deal if luxury items made from a collab (in which both companies try to get money) are priced more than usual? Besides, sure, its overpriced, but not that big of a deal... you can get a warbond's worth of SC in a couple hours, and you probably already have a couple hundreds SC from other completed warbonds.
If you really dont have time or money for this, it will come back, its in rotation! surely you will have saved up some currecny between the cycles...

@@zedmedina8591 TRUE also there are ways of getting sc faster. I got the ar in like an hour with friends.
in my opinion, that should have been a "Super Warbond", creating another category of warbonds dedicated to crossovers only.
11:12 that's from Ace Ventura spear in the leg
If we want this game to continue for years to come and get regular new content then it has to be profitable for arrowhead. If you don’t want to buy it then just grind for it

Yes!! Killzone is the game hope for another one. For helghan and super earth!!! Good stuff guys
All extra content is free how due expect them to make money entitled idiot
They literally just announced they're working on reworking the store lol. Also idk how ur getting such low amounts of sc from grinding. I made 3k very quickly
So you're complaining about having to actually play the game?
He's probably sponsored

The prices are absolutely not ok. 1900sc for a cape, nametag, cc, weapon, cape and armor set? No thanks.
License isn’t an argument bc Sony owns both franchises+Killzone is a dead ip and new weapons are also not ok in the sc, especially for that price.

Plus, 600 for a re-skinned liberator its crazy 💀
Personally , im not worried about the prices so much, i have free time so i can grind a little (while there's people studying/working that cant play hours farming just for one set of armor xD), the thing that rrally worries me is the weapons in the superstore.
Yeah, it's a tough situation, but I hope we can all come to an understanding!
@@a.j.6832is that true that Arrowhead will not be benefitted from the sale?
I can not imagine 100% of the sale's money will go to Sony.
The gun is a straight up upgrade to the liberator and is available for purchase right away, if this isnt pay to win then i dont know what is
If we're being realistic they give us DLC that most games would charge you 40 bucks for the in-game currency can be grinded out all you have to do is give a little time to the game the prices are different because it's a crossover we all know the regular items don't cost as much I don't see any problem here at this point I'm convinced some people in the community just try to find anything to complain about you don't have to buy anything if you don't want to and you're not missing out on anything if you don't
The background would turn purple when I would go against the Illuminates, so hopefully they're a bit better now
I get that people are not happy about the price, but i also get that they likely are paying royalty to the company that owns killzone. I doubt killzone is letting them use their IP for free, so they probably have to give them a cut of the profit made from the set. i agree the prices are too high but i also understand why they are that way
Well considering Sony own both IPs yes, they are using it for free.
The voteless death animation is probably an Ace Ventura 2 reference, when he got hit with spears in legs
Either warbond, or we should be getting bonus super credits.
I use savior of the free or other armor that has the 50% chance of saving your life.
if you want a loadout recommendation for the Illuminate, here's what I usually run
Plas-1 Scorcher primary, P-4 Senator, High Explosive grenade, and any armor with the Siege Ready passive. if you want stratagems as well, I use the Patriot Exosuit, Orbital Napalm Barrage, Orbital Precision Strike, and the LAS-98 Laser Cannon.
Just release it as a warbond for $20. Leave it out of the superstore
The wasp launcher is quite useful for flying enemies and especially when they're flying under hordes
With the latest warbond and the update they got themselves some wins, so it is about time to get a loss.
