I didn't mean that the Emperor trapped Orpheus in a prism, I meant that he's using him like a slave, manipulating his power. For people who used to be a slaves and desperately fought for freedom it's a big insult
woah your tav is cool af
Ya, know wonder why we dont get the option to blow up ourselves with Gale. Lmao XD You both go out with a boom. But also that could be really sad ending.
I usually completely skip this convo because it triggers to me the most depressing argument right before the netherbrain (unlike in this convo where he will agree with you and seem determined at the end, in that convo he will say you’re making a mistake by continuing the fight. it’s really upsetting honestly if you’re really attached to him.) but for rp reasons I did it on a recent playthrough and god it hurt me so much. his sigh before saying we should reconsider the orb.
I'd rather let the world burn. then make him use that orb. Is there an option to stay there with him if he does use it? Bc I'm not letting best boi go out alone.
My thoughts exactly! I wish that was an option, best ending I'd say.
Your tav is so beautiful
damn I shouldvr romanced gale
At least his sacrifice doesn't consume his soul and it redeems his previous actions in the eyes of Mystra and likely gets to stick with her. Out of all the outcomes, this seems like the best option, at least if someone HAS to die or lose their soul, this is definitely the best option. Even if Karlach prefers to die rather than go to Avernus, at least she has a soul and it's free from Zariel's clutches.
Hopefully there will be an update that allows for an ending that doesn't require the death of someone or the loss of their soul but achieving it should be difficult.
Raphael comment that Gales body and soul were erased from this plane of existance upon orb detination (you accepted the deal, but broke it, gale tries to become a god but fails ending)
Gale shouldn’t need to redeem himself to that PDF-file
I got this same dialogue while romancing Karlach. Also Karlach accepted pretty well my illithid form. Don't know why the comments say its only Gale.
Karlach offers to become a mind flayer; Gale offers to detonate the orb. Different sacrifices (both touching!).
Is this his default hair? It looks more tousled than I remember
This is the Gale's Wizarly Updo Mod on Nexus :)
Where did you get such beautiful clothes for gale?
It's the Robe of the Weave from Ramazith's Tower in Act 3! With Boreal Blue Dye I believe
Which outfit are you wearing?
I'm using the Basket Full of Equipment NSFW mod and I believe this is the 'Breezy' version of Gortash's outfit with a bralette in the neck slot!
I am curious, can you even use the orb so that no one has to become Illithid? I avoided all orb conversations in my first play-through and when I suggested the option in my Gale Origin, it wasn't good enough for Orpheus.
yea, just tell orpheus you'll transform later, then run the Gale Option.
Yes, get the Orphic hammer from Raphael either by stealing it or making a deal with him
@@user-hanging-at-the-hanged-man Freeing Orpheus isn't the issue. When suggesting the bomb as a solution to him, he thought it to be unreliable - as did the Emperor before since Gale already hesitated using it once before.
@@chickenbacon5197Interesting, I didn't see that option in my run. oO
@@anska7475 oops I completely misread this comment lmao, sorry :)
How do you get this ending?
When the Emporer tells you he needs the stones because an illithid has to control them, ask if you can become one instead. I was in a romance with Gale here, but I think it also works with high friendship
