Cavell & Angel Glacier Hike

The Edith Cavell Trail in Jasper National Park, Alberta (Canada) winds past the Cavell and Angel Glaciers overlooking an emerald green lake dotted with little ice sculptures from the calving glaciers. The crack and thunder of calving provides an adrenaline rush now and then. Friendly marmots, pikas and chipmunks greet hikers on their way from moraines sprinkled with Christmas trees to shale-graveled mountain tops.
