One of life's biggest mysteries is why Alex doesn't have tens of thousands of subscribers - best baseball recruiting content on YT

Alex thanks for your videos. You're correct on college camps! My nephew got offered at one. The coaches even said its tough to recruit with the thousands of emails and tweets they get!

Thanks Alex! I’d move your video up a couple months, we had fall tryouts in June in Minnesota. You sure answer all my questions as they present themselves with this 2024 ball player.

If talking about youth level then it's worth it if your team takes it casually, letting new kids pitch or playing something new... High school fall would be crazy. Need some time in gym and arm care. Once you're in high school the gym is equally important as playing time if you want to make it to the next level.

Good morning, thank you for your advice. Would you give the same advice for a softball player?

Hey Alex, this may be a request for another video, but what fall showcases in the southeast region do you suggest for recruitment exposure - other than school specific ones?

What about using fall ball for continued player development? I like some of the travel tournaments because of the higher level of competition for fall teams.

I'm in Australia. Can I communicate with coaches via email in the quiet period? What else can I do from another country to get noticed?

Do you need to play travel ball in middle school to play at higher levels

Depends on your area. I would focus on personal skill training and getting in the weight room.

Play wherever you can find pitchers that throw consistent strikes. Unfortunately in a lot of areas that's no longer Park district Ball. Also in junior high I would suggest focusing on endurance and band work. Create a good foundation but don't weight train to early. The end goal should be to make your freshman high school team but lifting weights should probably wait until after you finish your 8th grade season. Endurance and bands will set up a good foundation to then build muscle off of. Plus a lot of high schools have proper weight rooms
