It does have an alcoholic blast... and my reaction was the same as yours... but I've learned that with alot of scents, I need to let the scent find me rather than putting my nose up to the scent, because I go blind real quick. I find it does last for a few hours with good sillage and many more hours as a skin scent. I'm going to look for good prices on rouge, I can only find Ruby at a good price so far :)

@@IamTazzo_ yes let it sit. Actually, spray it 10 times, and let it sit for a week. The process is called Maturation. You let air get inside the bottle, and the air break to molucules down and helps bring out the fragrance in terms of smell and performance. That’s always a rule of thumb. Each time you get a brand new fragrance, 100ml spray 10x, 50ml sprays 5x, and 30ml sprays 3x…..and let them sit in a cool dark place for 2 weeks max. I have a lot of fragrances, so letting them sit up for a month doesn’t bother me 😅

The Al Haramain is a really successful mixture of the two original fragrances from Maison Francis Kurdjian, the BR 540 EdP and the BR 540 Extrait de Parfum. However, I definitely prefer the original Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait de Parfum from Maison Francis Kurkdjian for Al Haramain. This was my signature scent until the beginning of this year, but Terre D'Hermes from Hermes has now replaced it as my signature. You should definitely try the Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait de Parfum, you will definitely like it, it is of course very expensive, but it is worth it. I fell in love with this scent like never before. And since I have now gotten to know your taste (very similar to my taste), I assume that the scent will also captivate you, you will love the scent, it is simply a little different (more harmonious, more sensual) than them both dupes. And you should definitely try the Terre D'Hermes too. While we're at it, I'd like to recommend a few of my favorites: Blonde Amber by Clive Chrisitan (very expensive but incredible!!!) Ambre Nuit by Dior, Grand Soir by Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Green Irish Tweed and Royal Oud by Creed, L'Homme Ideal by Guerlain, Arabians Tonka and Ristretto Intense Cafe by Montale, Lamar by Kajal, Creme de Cuir by BDK, Brocéliande by Sora Dora and you should definitely smell your way through the Amouage fragrances.
