Nice. Great bull. I’ve learned so much from Gunwerks. My son just shot a trophy whitetail with his 7 rem mag that he bought 30 years ago. I set it up using all the techniques I’ve gleaned from watching you guys. BDC turret I had set up for him. Dialed to 460. Dropped it with a high shoulder shot using a Berger 175 eol. That bullet was devastating. There are all sorts of Gunwerks cookies in that success story I just told. Thanks for all you do. Great to see Mike again. I’ll be up for LRU in the near future. Keep up the great work.
That's got to be the most difficult hunt your wife will ever have to bring her finger along to kill an animal with. Everything else was done for her, but putting the crosshairs on the elk and squeezing the trigger. Six weeks ago, I couldn't even spell "elk hunter!" Now I are one!
If that’s what it takes to get his wife involved in the activity he clearly loves, it’s well worth it. Expecting a newbie to go out and do a difficult western hunt by themselves when they have the opportunity to go with and learn from others is ridiculous.
Fabulous bull and an excellent shot and particularly for a first Elk. No pressure!
