INGREDIENTS TO MAKE THE RECIPE :
FOR COOKER
2 Potatoes
1.5 Cups Sabudana
1 Tbsp Desi Ghee
1/2 tsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Sendha Namak
5 Tbsp Water
FOR KHICHIDI
1/2 Cup Peanuts
3 Green Chillies
2 Tomatoes
Coriander Leaves
1.5 Inch Ginger
1 tsp Sendha Namak
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
6 - 7 Curry Leaves
1 tsp Sugar
1 Lemon Juice
Desi Ghee For Cooking

@@sangeetarajani1616 m too a Brahmin nd sabudana is from family of rice nd rice is prohibited in ekadashi fast nd some sources even cnt found sabudana vegetarian due to its making process

Bharat, whether in Khichdi, Pulao or any curries, always add potatoes first. Sauté them before adding anything else.
Here, you should have added potatoes long before adding sabudana. The way you have done, adding potatoes after sabudaba and not sautéing them, will only leave potatoes tasting horrible.
Very simply, potatoes, like any other srarchy substance, acquire specific taste depending upon how they are cut and how they are cooked. That's why boiled, baked, mashed, fried (whether cut in strips, diced as chunks, or grated in shreds) potatoes taste distinctly different.

Bharatji, namaste. I made sabudana in cooker turned very nice , only I made change is that I haven't put in cold water as I had added ghee 😊 only I hv added one more spoon of water n after steaming I hv seprated sabudana by hand . Nice idea. Once again ty Bharatji.

Itne time mein toh sabudana bheeg jata hai. I always soak for 1/2 hour before I start making the khichadi. Only soak fully in water for the first 20 minutes and then drain off excess water
