  • Braj players hoisted the flag in the National Jujutsu Competition.
    Special:- Captured two gold, three silver and five bronze medals.
    The National Jujutsu Junior Competition held at the Chowk Stadium in Lucknow concluded in the presence of State President of Jujutsu Association of India Devraj Raichand, General Secretary of Jujutsu Association of India Vinay Joshi, Executive Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Amit Arora. The competition was inaugurated on 30th March by lighting the lamp in front of Goddess Saraswati. A total of 1200 players including presidents and general secretaries of various states were present on this occasion. The competition was held in three categories - Niwaza, Fighting System and Contact Jujutsu. A total of 15 players from Mathura district participated under the leadership of team coach Rajiv Soni, co-coach Sharad Soni, and team manager Kanchan Rani. Among the players who won gold medals were Prince Agarwal in the Under-10-28 kg weight category, Siya Choudhary in the Under-12-40 kg weight category, Sonakshi Choudhary in the Under-12-28 kg weight category, and Sonakshi Choudhary in the Under-16-77 kg among the players who won silver medals. Ravi Porwal in the weight category division and fighting, the same bronze medal winners in the under 10 - 28 kg weight category and Aarav in the finding system, Prince Chaudhary in the under 12 - 28 kg category, Abhimanyu Singh in the under 12 - 25 kg category, Under 16 - 77 kg category. In this, Adi Madhyant Gautam and Geeta Balyan were mainly involved in fighting in the under-16-52 kg weight category. While presenting medals to the winning players, National Referee and President of Jujutsu Association of Mathura, Ved Prakash Pandey also assured that soon more Jujutsu players from Mathura district will be ready to hoist their flag. Niwaja Technical Director of the competition and National Referee of Niwaja Sonu Nishad, who is leading the team of Mathura district, said that many players of Niwaja have been found from the district who have achieved success and success very quickly in a short period of time. On returning to the district, the players were given a grand welcome and honour. A glimpse of happiness was visible on the faces of all the parents. Shivani Verma, Shubhi Verma, Taru Chaudhary Nikita, Arun Kumar Singh Arya, Namrata Singh were present on this occasion. Dr. Sunita Pachar, Chairperson of Fighter Academy of Martial Arts, while congratulating all the winning players, congratulated them for carrying forward the name of Braj in future.
