As a fan watching Linus go from a house to multiple warehouses and MCM from moms garage to flying across the world to build cars just warms my freaking heart to see my favorite channels collab! Thank you!
The TH-cam algorithm is bad this is my first exposure to Linus. I'm not really a tech geek though, but I have been building my own PCs for 2 decades. Honestly, I was just excited to see the MiniDSP and other audio upgrades make an appearance outside my small niche car audio community.

Well, they are also in the least wintery part of BC. All the comments on Canada being cold in the video! It almost never snows where they filmed this. If they had been there a few months earlier, they would have been complaining about the heat 😂
Such an awesome collab! I went by the shop that day having no idea about this happening and was lucky enough to witness some of the dyno action. Everyone was busy working but Marty spotted me throwing the chopped fingers and gave me a wave, making this MCM fan a happy fellow indeed!

It’s kinda surreal, watching Marty from mcm, working with Linus/LTT whom I went to school with and only 10 minutes from my house. This is awesome, wish I could have seen you guys in person.
On behalf of Canadians, I’m so sorry you had to experience one of our two horrible airlines. And I hope your car wasn’t broken into or stolen while you were in Vancouver.
As someone with a 1993 Honda Prelude with a K-Swap compliments of the Hasport kit. A number of K-Tuned parts. A Haltech ECU. And a Wilwood BBK from Fast Brakes this build feels awfully close to home. Of course, my project has taken a lot more time. But this was a blast to watch!
It's so awesome that you guys were finally able to collaborate with LTT. And to join back up with Brian at VTEC Academy and others just made it so much better too. I think it's clear that there is quite a large crossover audience when it comes to DIY tech, car modification and maker spaces, and for those of us who do dabble in all of those worlds, this is an absolute treat to see the overall community grow in highlighting what makes these sorts of projects fun, exciting and truly special. As with building cars, building PCs is often an event where you get friends together to make something cool. You piece the parts together, work out the kinks and make sure everything functions properly, and then you have a blast tuning that sucker to squeeze out as much performance as possible without roasting things. And then, you take it to the proverbial virtual track and utilize those digital horse powers to play your favorite games together. This is truly a collaboration that the internet has been demanding for a very long time. I mean, your channels are, in my opinion, among the pioneers who genuinely built this platform in the first place. So, it's super cool that you finally made time to work on a genuine nugget together. And honestly, thinking about other sorts of projects, I think that a K-swap in an old Civic was just the perfect choice in so many ways. This felt like an old driveway video, just with a whole bunch of new, yet also old friends. Cheers from the US!
Hats off guys, been waiting for a decade for a Canadian collaboration. Absolutely jazzed to see this! Appreciate you gents! From the East Coast of Nova Scotia.
In 2006 i helped a neighbor put a k20 into a crx, he was the 3rd person to ever buy hasport k series swap mounts, he used the harness from an rsx type s, and i remember, we had to clip i think the srs plugs off the harness until a green key showed up on the cluster, well the key ended up showing at 1am on a weeknight, so at 1am with no head lights tails lights and open exhaust we went on a test drive and the entire time he kept getting out to adjust the clutch saying the clutch was slipping, well the next day there were rubber marks every where he said the clutch was slipping, lots of fun memories in that car.

Man, I wish I had known you were here... I would have loved to have met you, bought ya a coffee or something. You guys are great! And your video is so much better than LTTs! LOL
Long time watching both LTT and MCM, but credit where its due the MCM edit is way more clean and enjoyable to watch, not sure if everyone else noticed this watching both videos, but worlds apart to me. Not hating on LTT but MCM your video editing is spot on.
I only watched bits of LTT version, mostly to see the audio ugprades. This is my first exposure to LTT, maybe I'll watch a few more videos before I draw a conclusion. MCM crushed the edit though. I've seen all this stuff before, done most of it myself on various cars, but what they choose to show and quickly move through, covering sponsors and providing entertainment, it's no wonder they have a global following.
If that Civic was in middle or south Sweden all you would see would be rust, it is horrible and hurts my soul, we use SO MUCH salt and I hate it so much. In north of Sweden they don’t use salt, since they use their brainy cells, and they just plow it, and it works like charm if you use studded tires, they never salt it and it’s so nice. The problem with salt is that it melts the snow, then you get a horrible salt slushy, even your shoes can get coated in salt, it’s that bad, and then that slushy freezes to ice and traffic is chaos, so every other day you either can or can’t get to work amazing right, then you might also hurt yourself badly by slipping on the ice when walking also amazing, love how we can’t handle snow in a northern country, then we have NOT talked about public transport, that is a whole other subject of anxiety, but to summarise snow + public transport is a no no very bad not working no no works not hahah.
My two favorite channels in one video! It’s so weird seeing Linus and Marty side by side. Marty really seems to know his stuff about tech based on his comments and comparisons, unlike Linus, who doesn’t know much about cars lol. Please make a part two with turbocharging, and if possible, including Moog as well!
EP3 Civics came with an electronic power steering rack that can be swapped, no hood cutting required for the pump. A vacuum coolant filler makes quick work of hard to bleed coolant systems (e.g. Toyota MR2).
I've always thought modding cars and swapping computer parts had a lot of crossover. It's awesome to see that bigish channel I used to watch 12 years ago, LTT and the MCM, that I've been watching the last 5 do an awesome collab.
10:04 we are going to 3D scan this part, get it all modelled and 3D print an insert. 37:08 is what they ended up with! Good to see they kept up with the "over promise and under deliver" jankiness from their water cooling videos. 🤣
So weird seeing Martin working with Canadian Tire branded Motomaster products. Very cool. Hopefully you had a good time. Maybe next time you can come out to the East side (the correct side) of the country!

Yep, most complain about a low-mount Tstat for that reason, but that lead to the Radiator funnel.

Definitely a good time. Good build mate. Cheers!
I’m gonna need a longer lunch break
You got yourselves a new sub 😁You guys did an amazing job over at LTT. 😁👍💖💖💖
There’s definitely a part 2…. Turbo
Welcome to the right-side-up hemisphere. happy to have ya mate.
I'm so use to seeing Marty stand next to Scott and looking real short. Seeing him net to Linus reminds me that the boys are actually pretty tall.
Linus is also pretty short.
@@joewaun894 Yeah, hes like 5'6". The MCM boys are around 6' to 6'1". Scott has to be atleast 6'5", 6'6".
Scott is gigantic. I'd love to see him next to Linus.
@@iticklechickens I seem to remember Scott saying in a video years ago that he was over 7 feet tall? Thought he said 2.2 metres but I could be wrong.
@@StopDropandLOL 7'8", but those are two separate measurements
Great collab! thanks for the vid ✌

Just don’t ask me a windows question 😶
At 45 minutes Marty morphed into a Canadian with the winter coat ✨
It's so odd to see how human Aussies look compared to Canadians
Bloody good effort gentlemen,Linus is TH-cam royalty, excellent accomplishment to collaborate with a top tier TH-cam channel, fire content bro
As a local Vancouverite they will get a box 2 Vehicle inspection for that exhaust so hopefully they change it soon 😂
He just has to stay away from VPD, Surrey RCMP is used to straight-piped Honda's and V6 Chargers
They did change it 😁
New subscriber from LTT! Loved the vibe🔥🔥
The collab nobody expected but the one we all needed!! This is just EPIC!!!!!
EP3 Civics came with an electronic power steering rack that can be swapped, no hood cutting required for the pump.
A vacuum coolant filler makes quick work of hard to bleed coolant systems (e.g. Toyota MR2).
why does this feel like when your parents and your in-laws meet?
Because most people hate their in-laws and this makes them cringe?
@@MajorOutage most people like them, loud majority does not lmao
@@VanBourner I like my in-laws too, but they're not Linus.
I'm pretty sure Alex has a contract rider ensuring a base level of jankiness for all videos he appears in.
@@SomeNameGoesHere Love this
This is an awesome collab 🎉
26:04 they've been doing what?
Miles, and Dave, and Josh have just been cranking it. All day. Along with the Linus boys. 😂
So weird seeing Martin working with Canadian Tire branded Motomaster products. Very cool. Hopefully you had a good time. Maybe next time you can come out to the East side (the correct side) of the country!
What an epic crossover. Now the world patiently waits for VGG and MCM to work together
That would be awesome!
As number 39 I'm constantly missed out... this collaboration would definitely make up for my hurt feelings 😂🎉 vvg/mcm crx build
A collab with VGG or B is for Build would more than make up for this.
It was simultaneously really normal and really odd to see Linus, Alex and Jake on screen. Excellent video, gents. Sex spec must live on forever.
Marty you look tired AF
Mate.. the Jet lag was absolutely brutal! Like waking up at 1am to work on cars for 10 hours then not be able to sleep afterwards. Woke up a little by the dyno day!
Take off the ridge wallet banner on the rear window and debadge the back "civic" emblem, itll clean it up. Sad that linus called it a sh¡t box but glad he got the vtec perspective.
