Right you have a traditional European championship qualifiers and a nations league which is divided into 4 groups and the 4 groups has 4 sections A,B,C,D So for example my nation is scotland if we don't finish atleast top 2 then we have to win our nation's league so we can play a play off against winners in group C A,B,C,D and need to win the playoffs and the final to get to the euros, however if we finished top 2 in the qualifiers then top our nation's group then the playoff spot goes to the 2nd best rank team in out group and it will get based on wins pts goals scored etc etc and also if a team from group b qualifies through the qualifiers route and in group be had doesn't have 4 teams then we would pop into group B if we win nations group and haven't qualified through the qualifiers route
Surely the whole fun and 'togetherness' is having fans from all different countries collecting in one nation, creating a buzz and an atmosphere. Plus you're now expecting fans to pay for numerous flights across Europe to follow their team, they won't be able to book the tickets for those flights until they know their team has gone through. I don't see the appeal in this system, not well thought out.
