    Does the Boston Symphony really play concerts wearing color coordinated tee shirts?

      bunch of kids in the audience. most likely a performance designed for kids and the shirts are so they can quickly identify the different parts of the orchestra to the students.

      Please identify the very skillful conductor. The pop-music category "artist" is meaningless in classical music.

      I believe it’s Thomas Wilkins. Years ago, Wilkins was Resident Conductor of the Florida Orchestra, and I remember hearing him conduct a thrilling performance of Nielsen’s Fourth in St. Petersburg, FL.
