    Excellent work ! Thank you ! Sometimes I hardly blend from no guard lever open to no #1 guard using the 0.5 guard...

    great haircut!! I have the same kind of growth pattern in the nape of my neck, and I am finding that most lady hairdressers here in America do not know or understand how to cut this type of neckline. thank you so much for posting this video!! USA

    Hello! Loving your channel from across the pond! Perhaps you would consider do some tutorials on short women’s haircuts as well? As a queer gal who cuts their own hair I would love this content. Any tips on self cuts for medium length short hair with a boyish feminine twist would be loved by at least me! Thanks! Learning so much.

      To be honest pretty much all the cuts on here could be applied to a man or woman, the trick to making a more feminine appearance is to soften the edges, but with this cut on a tomboy I'd probably go with the sharp edges, I think it would look really good

    I live in the Southern USA, we have an A/c running all day, otherwise it would be unbearable.
    Thanks for the video. I look forward to the shorter version of the same haircut but I learned something new from this one too even though I skipped some parts. I am a mom of 4 so I only watch short videos or watch long ones on mute at night before bed.

      I have a useless aircon unit in the shop, literally takes the temperature down by 1 degree. I am not sure if you have seen this video, it is very similar but a much shorter version.th-cam.com/video/kA2IWr8p7kg/w-d-xo.html

    Love the tutorials! Would love to see some varied styles besides the curtain look. Flat top, clipper over comb, short sides and back, Ivy League, pompadour Elvis look, etc, to develop skills for other looks. Also do you ever use a thinning shears?- would be great to see some tips for how to use that tool. Have been barbering just for my teen sons for the last 4 years and I’m getting better.
    This is the first time I’ve heard you give the tip on seeing where the hair will lay when flat, when doing the scissor over comb on the side. Nice tip that made that technique click for me!

    • @theoneminutebarber
      @theoneminutebarber  17 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thank you for all the feedback, these are all useful suggestions and I have long planned to make a pros and cons video for the thinning scissor. Flat tops are unlikely at the moment as I don't have any clients asking for them. However I will have a lot of variations on these longer styles on top as the demand is high.

    I don’t know, but in Florida where I work I get fades, and longer cuts etc. so it’s not just one style. We get lots of mullets, shags and bobs and pixies. Thanks to these barber videos and and other barbers and stylists I know how to cut men’s hair as a hairstylist. But question when you blow dried his hair why didn’t you use a blow dry spray or something for heat protection?

    • @theoneminutebarber
      @theoneminutebarber  12 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      I rarely use anything like that for two reasons, the first is that my hairdryer is always on the lowest heat setting, And the other is that damage isn't really a concern on mens hair, most will not use hot tools or colour their hair, and even if they do it gets cut pretty much every four weeks. I have seen damaged hair. but not very often.

    May i know why you used 1.5 guard to blend the line between 1 and 3, instead of number 2 guard?

    • @theoneminutebarber
      @theoneminutebarber  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Most of the time I use the 2. But after I used the 1 and a half I didn’t think it needed the extra step. Do you ever get that?

    Hi , my sons have that hairline. May I ask the guard # between the 3 and 1.5

    • @theoneminutebarber
      @theoneminutebarber  17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes the guard number is the 1.5 guard number. It looks like a short stumpy guard. It’s the same length as the # with the lever down. You can also make life easier with a #2

      @theoneminutebarber  12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      You would need a basic barber kit and a mannequin head is worth getting if you can’t find people to practice on
      So scissors, comb, clippers, trimmer, gown, water bottle, hairdryer, brushes.

    I wish you can make it a little less talk/ explain while you cutting hair like other tutorial clip, because anytime you were talking or explaining you stopped so it takes longer than it should be, I thinh we both, the model and audiences have to be very patient to watch your video.
